Casio Men's Solar Sport Combination Watch, Black

At this price this watch is of great value. It can solar charged its battery so no matter how much you use the alarm, timer, stop watch and light you don’t have to worry about battery replacement. It is also cool to see how the watch hand rotates automatically when switching timezone. Lastly it has most of the G-Shock model functions except of course for the extra ruggedness. There are also 3rd party watch cover and strap available.

A bit big, but with many features and good value.

I got this watch because I needed to have 5 separate alarms each day, also I didn't want to spend a lot. The watch has in the main, been just what I wanted. There are some plusses and some minuses for me, nothing major, but worth mentioning. Plus: Watch is solar powered, so the battery will never go flat. Plus: the LCD section allows you to access a reasonable selection of functions Plus: The hands are white and quite clear to see even in poor light. Plus: It seems well built and tough. Minus: The watch is solar powered, so you can't wear it covered by your sleeve (how I prefer to). Minus: The LCD section is bit too small (I struggle to read it). Minus: The numbers and hour makers are dark grey and can be hard to see in poor light. Minus: The alarm sound is a bit quiet and hard to hear with even a little background noise. Nope of the minuses are a deal breaker for me and apart from the feeling of the slightly chunky watch on my wrist I was aware of exactly what I was going to get when I bought it. For the price and the functionality it would be hard to beat, on top of that it's a Casio and that's a brand I feel you can rely on. So bottom line, as long as you know what you are getting and are happy with it, buy one. I would buy one again if I needed to.

Great addition to my solar collection

Great value for money, considering its a solar charging watch. Although big (like a g shock) it's very comfortable on my thin wrist. Also chose this model as the dial is darker than the others and looked really cool to my eyes. Lumiglow is really bright and easy to read. Fantastic addition to my casio solar collection.

No nonsense, stylish and feature packed mens watch at an amazing price point!

One of my favorite watches! Great price, simple design with some nice stylings, and excellent feature set. While I do wish the digital screen was a tiny bit larger, doing so would take away from the solar panel backed analog face. I love that I don’t have to charge it and it saves power if in a dark room to several days by turning off the digital screen to save power. I love the international time zone feature. I often leave it on one time zone displaying on the digital face and local time displaying on the analog face! It also has a stopwatch, timer, several alarms and many other features within the digital menu! It even had a backlight and the glow in the dark paint on the analog face lasts quite a while. PERFECT WATCH FOR ME. :-)

This watch is so amazingly light weight! Its analog face is easy to read. I didn't realize that it only has an hour and minute hand until I read it on another person's review! But no matter because the seconds tick-off digitally in the little window! I love the fact that this is a solar watch, and I won't need to change the battery for a long time! Another reviewer said they owned their watch for 8 years (so far) without a battery change! It's a great looking watch and water resist to 100m. I don't use all the different functions that this watch can do. I just needed a watch for the time of day and day of the week. For the actual date, just press a button! GREAT WATCH FOR A GREAT LOW PRICE...THE PERFECT WATCH FOR ME! :-)

First Wal-Mart, Thank you for being helpful and understanding with us customers and I feel bad you take the hit. The issue is that Casio lacks the quality in there products and the ability to address issues with customers. After only causality wearing this watch 2 times I noticed several scratches and scuff marks on the crystal. Upon contacting Casio they informed me that the lens was resin (plastic) and where did I see that it was mineral crystal (rock hard). I told them in the features listed for this watch on Wal-Mart.com. They did say more features adds to the cost. And that was it. I've been a loyal Casio user since the G-Shock came out, I've purchased 3 G-Shocks and 2 Classic Casio watches in the last 3 years. Returning this Classic and a G-Shock for poor quality and donated a G-Shock to help out a Church yard sale. Enjoying the other 2. I don't recommend purchasing any Casio watches till quality and customer service issues are addressed and improved.

The AQS810W series is one of Casio's best, in terms of being durable, reliable and problem free

We spent a few weeks trying to decide which watch we were going to purchase as this was a gift, and I came to the conclusion that being solar-powered was my highest priority, followed by being quickly readable. Perhaps it is just me, but I can read a analog watch faster than a digital one - just a quick glance. I kept coming back the Casio's AQS810W series, and it came down to the darker, matte-finished colors. Having said all of that, this series of Casio watches is virtually trouble-free. The watches themselves are largely bulletproof, possessing anvil-like reliability and durability. They even have a feature that if the watch is dropped or knocked around too hard, and the analog hands get out of sync with the digital display, you can quickly and easily re-sync them. This series is one of Casio's best, in terms of being problem-free. And it is a sturdy but light, good looking Casio watch! Great job!

I bought this watch because my mother gave me one like it and that watch lasted for years, Its battery wore out and I wanted to replace it but I could not get the back off to see what kind of battery it was so I could buy a new one, so when I saw that Walmart had these I wanted to buy it. It is a very tough watch and cool because it has a rechargeable battery you can charge by exposing it to light. The face is a solar panel.

This watch is amazing! It sets itself in a couple of easy steps. If you travel the world, you can set the watch to one of many time zones according to the Atomic World Clock. There is a search button that will give you the time in another time zone and the hands will stay in the time zone you have set it to. It also has many functions- FIVE alarms, stopwatch, and timer. It also has a backlight and glow in the dark hands. The best thing about this watch is that it is solar powered so you don't have to worrying about changing batteries which are expensive. Overall, this is an awesome watch for a great value.

I included the pic because I struggled with trying to determine the size of the watch before I bought it. I didn’t want one of those trash can lid sized clown watches.
