Casio Privia PX-S3000 Digital Piano - Black

This is the best portable keyboard I have ever bought! I am a professional working musician and use this for many things. I love the fact that it can be used with batteries too. The sounds on this keyboard are fab and the piano sound is wonderful.I would highly recommend this keyboard - 5/5!

Fantastic instrument. Super sleek. So lightweight. The main piano sound is excellent, and the variety of other sounds available is amazing, and not typically found on pianos of this price point. Also cool useful features like bluetooth, arpeggiator and ability to connect with Casio's Chordana app are just the icing on the cake. If you're looking for a great value 88 key digital piano, but with many of the features you'd expect on an arranger style keyboard... this is the one!

Review of Casio PXS3000 Piano

Great instrument from every aspect, touch, sounds, casework and extremely compact depth-wise. Very lightweight.However the explanatory manuals unfortunately do not live up to the quality of the instrument, they are just 2 very large sheets of paper rather than being published in booklet form which would be far better for handling and referring to. The instructions for assembling the wooden stand could also be much clearer.

Nice looking touch button keyboard. Nice to play. Speakers not that great and don't do the piano sounds justice. Much better with headphones.Slight static click every so often in my headphones, not loud but noticable, not sure what causes that?. Didn't have it with my previous keyboard, just happens now and then.The piano sounds are reasonable, I use midi mostly but these are good enough for practising without needing my computer switched on.Navigation pretty simple once used to it.Volume knob a bit scratchy in places. Sort of sticks or drags/scrapes in one place, but not always the same place, nothing major though.All in all, a decent piano keyboard for the money.The foot switch is one of those cheap click box type. I feel no difference myself. Maybe if your a pro classical player, but as I say, I couldn't tell the difference.I'm still using the packaging as a cover at the moment. Shame manufacturers don't supply a cheap cover but then at this price you can't have everything.
