The digital display is a bit small and can be hard to read but everything else is awesome, love the new strap design on this and the carbon core finish means the watch sits so nicely around the wrist. Slightly smaller watch so would be great for medium to slimmer wrists. Does the basic functions and does them well. Great light too, really clear!

If I could give it no stars I would. Watch was supposed to be a 15th wedding anniversary for my husband. Open the box, only to find the the decorative container the watch comes in to be dirty and dented. Upon further inspection the watch appears to be used. Face of watch actually smudged and inside of watch band has dirt/gunk on it. Needless to say this is incredibly disappointing and gross. What should have been a wonderful gift to celebrate a huge milestone is total crap. Thanks for nothing Wide Embrace.

The GA-2000-1A2ER is the latest addition to my G Shock collection. The watch looked impressive from the images on the listing however the visuals are even more impressive upon unboxing. It quickly became a personal favourite. It is comfortable on the wrist with just the right proportion without being oversized. I catch myself looking at it admiringly from time to time. As with most G Shocks, the back light is somewhat lacking but does it's job. This would be my only criticism about the watch but as mentioned it is true of most G Shocks. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a nice fashionable timepiece, whether it's just to be worn as jewellery or if you are an avid enthusiast of the brand like myself.

Lightweight, rigid and in a colour thats made to stand out and make a statement.Although the setting of the watch was a little difficult to navigate, once done, it provides spot on time keeping and has a miriad of features to keep the boyfriend more than happy.One feature I wish was a little more upgraded, was the illumination. Liked this watch so much, I went and purchased another! There are a few different colours and styles of this Watch, And at this price you'd be silly not too. The watch offers many features, Including World Time, With quick auto Adjustment, Led light, Quick release straps, 200m water resistant. Super light weight and Very comfortable. I love big, chunky watches and this fits the bill. I've been wanting a G shock for awhile and finally pulled the trigger and so glad i did. It's a bit big to wear under long sleeves so I can't wear it much in winter but once the weather gets warmer i know ill wear this every day. The hands are easy to read without my glasses which is a must for me. I'm a petite woman and this covers my wrist completely.
The good: This watch looks truly amazing. The black/yellow really pops and it’s a real statement piece. Looks way better in reality than the photos and the LCD bits look blue lit up… stylish. Light and comfortable.The bad: why so hard to set up? Instructions vague and why should we have to Google how to do this! Nothing else is bad though and come on it’s a Gshock, what can be bad
The watch is exactly as pictured and is very comfortable on the wrist. It has an excellent wrist presence without feeling too big; this is helped by the lightness of the product. The watch is easy to use and I found setting the time/date very straight forward. It just feels very sturdy and of very good quality. The only negative of the watch is the legibility and poor visibility of the digital display. Without the white hands it would be frankly be quite difficult to tell the time. As it is however I really like the stealth-look and as mentioned the white hands mitigate the lack of legibility. All in all an excellent watch, at an excellent price, and I would highly recommend it.
I've been a fan of G-Shock watches for years & was looking for a new one that would look good with both casual & professional outfits so this watch is perfect. It's modern, stylish & hard-wearing with an interesting face & features including international time zone settings, multiple alarms & a great light too (better than most watches). It's a great price too & in my opinion much better-looking than most watches that are much more expensive. After ordering my watch through the John Lewis website it arrived 2 days later for collection in-store which was a smooth & pleasant experience.
Bought as a birthday present for a teenaged boy, who is delighted with it!It's a good-looking watch and sturdy, without being too bulky on the wrist.It took a bit of figuring out all the functions (in the end, we used the online instructions, rather than the booklet) but once we'd got the hang of it, easy to use and set up.We have the plastic strap but will probably change it for a more breathable one eventually. Overall, very pleased with both the watch and the prompt service from John Lewis.
