This was a Christmas present so has only been in use for a few weeks but, as we're enthusiastic coffee drinkers, it's been used A LOT in that time. It's a nice enough design to be on the countertop, and it fits where we previously had our electric kettle. The digital display is clear and easy to adjust, although it would be nice to be able to increase the volume amounts in 10ml increments, rather than the preset 50ml increments. It takes roughly 12 seconds to get a 250ml mug of 90 degree water, from start to finish, and the tank is large enough that you're not having to refill it that regularly, although it needs to be refilled before it completely empties - so the usable amount of water is somewhat less than the tank's capacity. I brought this about a month ago. I loved the idea of only heating the water I needed and not wasting water. The machine is easy to use and dispenses water in smaller quantities than it states if you use the setting 000 which tops up our coffee when needed. We quickly worked out how much water was needed for our cups and we were up and running in minutes. If it lasts well I won’t go back to a kettle.
This is the third ‘one cup kettle’ we’ve owned, and by far the most expensive. It has more features and looks pretty good, but it’s quite plasticky. Having to unlock it every time you want a drink is annoying. Touch-sensitive controls sometimes seem too sensitive or not sensitive enough. So it’s OK, but I’m not sure it’s worth the money.
Got this around a month ago, used daily for hot drinks I just love it and will be perfect for when the next grandchild arrives as can fill a baby’s bottle at 40 degrees so perfect temperature too!
Bought this 6 month ago.Pros: good design and touch screen.Con: you need to be aware of that this product need to be preheated before you use it, and if not, the first 2-3 seconds this will dispense only warm water into your cup instead of boilingwater. Also, as older it gets, as less and less water it disperses. For full 200mg cup of water i have to set 350mg.
Very happy with this machine , was amazed at how boiling water can be produced so quickly , looked at others but was swayed by the temp adjustment and various quantities, continues flow is a great feature alsoOnly one criticism, (hence 4 stars) the selected volumes could have included 500-600 ml.
Got a hot water dispenser to reduce costs as always at least half fill he kettle. It’s great, set temp so can do 90• for coffe, set cup size. Can use it to fill pan for boiling too.We don’t have to filter our water but it has one anyway.
The dispenser gives water at the exact temperature selected,unlike some, after the initial fill you are set for the day and the unit remembers the temperature and volume selected until you unplug then you have to set it up again, which takes only a few seconds.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.
