Class-Leading Aerodynamics is only the BeginningWhen Castelli engineered the first aero jersey for road racing back in 2006, everyone thought they were crazy. Back then, Aero was only for TTs. Performance clothing meant moisture management. And you could win the Tour de France with a baggy jersey that was little more than a polyester T-shirt. Even Catelli’s Aerodynamic consultants expected limited gains, so they named the jersey Split Second, though, like now, they thought even small gains were worth pursuing. In the end the gains were substantial, and they have completely revolutionized the look of the Pro Peloton. Castelli are now on the sixth major revision of their aero jersey, and each generation has become more aero and better fitting. The short sleeve Castelli Aero Race 6.0 Jersey benefits heavily from CFD analysis of wake flow in the riding position for fabric and seam placement. It also benefits from pro riders’ feedback, to make the jersey comfortable for their long hours of training and then racing in every possible weather condition.

I have this jersey in the Lombardia Green, the quality is superb! My first outing in the jersey was tackling the infamous Mott St. climb. It performed as expected - fit is perfect, a little more forgiving than an aero fit, great ventilation, no bunching or movement of sleeves - a quality jersey! For context my height 167cm and weight is 63kg. Small fits perfectly, didn't need to size up.

At 178cm height and 72kg weight, size S fit me well. A little short at the waist but not a deal breaker. Material is a bit warm for my tropical country. Still, you can’t beat the stylish Castelli cut.

This is an excellent summer jersey. It is light weight and looks like it will be great on the hot days when they come. Struggled to find the Electric Lime version but pleased to be able to get it. As normal with Castelli went a size up and Large fits me perfectly (38inch chest)

I love my Aero Race 6.0 - dark infinity blue jersey for its comfort and race fit, so i ordered this year's version in saville blue / pro red. unf, this jersey fits a size larger than the same jersey from last season, not the race fit i was looking for. that said, fit is personal, so if you found last year's version tight, this might be a great fit for you.
This is my third Castelli top and what would normally be a medium in cycling shirts is always a large for me in Castelli, so size up for sure, especially if you’re on the upper edge of your size profile. I love the sleeve length, a bit longer so it is comfortable and helps block the sun on your biceps. Fairly long body also so it doesn’t ride up your back. Fabric is very durable and stands up to lots of washes. Always depend on Castelli quality.
The jersey was perfect for my needs, except for one important detail: it's length. It was too short for me, even with bibs on. I am 6'4", with a slim build and the XL was above my belly button. To all cycling clothing companies: please please please think of us long people and make longer jerseys!
This is a complete redesign from the previous aero race jersey.Pros:- Fabric is fantastic, basically fits like a skin suit- pockets are easier to get into- arms are elbow length- this runs maybe a half size larger than the previous year because the fabric stretches so much.Cons:- back material is NOT sunproof except for the stripe down the middle. I went out for a ride and came back burned on my back except for a big line down my spine where it is painted white or red depending on the colour you get. That's the only flaw i can see with this jersey and to be honest it is a fairly big flaw as on very sunny days i might choose a different jersey
Typical Castelli sizing, go a size up and you'll be good (they are consistent at least!). Material is a breathable and the fit is fantastic - you'll look good in this! This just might be my favourite jersey yet. Love the additional zippered pocket in addition to the typical 3 back pockets. Got this on sale so really hard to beat.
As title says, very comfortable jersey. There’s a slight color difference between the torso panels and the sleeves. I tried the white version and the sleeves were yellowish and didn’t look good at all. I now have the red version and it’s less of an issue, but still present.
Quality made jerseys, as expected from Castelli. I have used the measurements from the sizing chart and it fits me perfectly. The material is lightweight without being to fragile, the rear pockets are generous enough to be able to pack a mini pump, light jacket some energy bars and cellphone. This jersey is a slim fit but not race fit (skin tight). It’s comfortable jersey for long rides.
