The original Perfetto RoS vest was pretty perfect, and now Castelli made it just a little better with the addition of a third pocket, which (for me anyway) works better than the two larger pockets of the previous version. Barely distinguishable from the previous version otherwise - light, packable, warm, a lovely slim cut and completely windproof.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son to keep him warmer during the colder months. He wore it throughout the colder / wet Dec days and loved it. A great fit.

I’m very pleased with this Castella gilet, I bought a large size and it fits my average build (5’10” 76kg 38” chest) just right. Keeps my core nice and warm worn over a base layer and jersey.
This is a perfect vest to put on top of a jersey and block the wind while still having a breathable material, like all premium Castelli products. This vest packs small enough to fit in the back of a jersey pocket. It has no insulation as its essentially a windproof yet breathable shell.Size: I wear medium on everything and I got the medium vest. It fits, as a “race fit”, i.e. it is tight but not too tight; it is the size you’ll expects for serious road cycling so I rated it as “True to size”. Size up if you want something slightly looser. I’m 5’11’ and 168 lbs.
Purchased last month and have worn on pretty much every ride since. I’m generally a size medium but opted for a large in this. Quality is great. The gore tex infiunium fabric is highly water repellant. All in all I wouldn’t be without this vest now. Worn with a base layer and thermal long sleeve jersey this vest has got me through 3-5 degree rides. Two way zipper is a bonus. Highly recommend
I am enjoying this vest, and it was what I was hoping for. Previously, I had loose-fitting vests, that did block the wind but created some drag and were certainly difficult to stuff into a jersey pocket when warmer. This provides nice core protection, then easily folds away for the rest of the ride. Like most Castelli products, they run small so size up one size
I bought this a month ago and used a few times. Great fit and provides additional warmth on chilly rides. Vibrant colour is good on misty, murky rides
I wanted a gilet which was a bit thicker than summer wind stopper gilets and this is perfect. Perfect cut , perfect weight , perfect warmth and weather resilience.And it has the rear pockets.Got a bit of a bromance going on with this gilet. Love it .
Great price on sale, purchased a Castelli vest and convertible Perfetto jacket to replace my old one. Like the way the removeable sleeves detach above the elbow, the old model was great for very cold rides, but could get a bit hot with the sleeves attaching at the shoulder, putting double thickness wind-block material around the upper arms / shoulder area.
