When can't choose between long and short sleeves, this versatile jacket lets you choose both. "RoS" stands for "Rain or Shine". Castelli exclusive Gore-Tex Infinium 205 fabric on front-facing surfaces is windproof and highly water-resistant. Gore-Tex Infinium 203 on rear-facing surfaces provides extra stretch and breathability. Taped shoulder seams for extra rain protection. Zips just above elbows to allow use as long- or short-sleeve jacket. Easy-sliding YKK Vislon zipper is covered for extra wind and rain protection. Zippered ventilation openings on side of chest. 2 rear pockets with pump sleeve are enlarged for easy access with gloved hands. Dropped tail offers extended protection from road splash and features a large black reflective panel for excellent visibility from behind.

Excellent jacket for cold weather

I bought this jacket to keep me riding in the colder months in the south of the UK. I have worn it with a thermal base layer on days of 4 to 10 degrees and it has worked a treat in keeping me warm. I have yet to test it in colder weather than that but I know I have the option of adding further base layers if necessary.I am 5"7 or 170cm and weight 65kgs. A small size was a snug but perfect fit. Perhaps a medium would have worked too if you are planning on layering up for heavy duty winter riding in sub zero temperatures.

Great quality as expected

This jacket has not got excellent reviews for nothing, looks good, very light and after wearing it with a merino wool baselayer, is all I'll need to stay warm in winter in the temperature range indicated and consistent but light drizzle. I am 186cm height, 85kg, 38 waist and although I am not built like a pro-cyclist, I don't have a "spare tyre" around my waist. 3XL is the right size for me which I find is consistent with other Castelli sizing. I'm normally between L/XL T-shirt size and don't think I could get more than a single layer under it. Although the correct fit is mostly a matter of personal opinion, I can say for sure that it would not fit length-wise if you are taller than 188cm. Sigma Sports delivery is spot-on as always. With all the favourable reviews now, this looked like a solid UK winter option. So far very good after a few weeks early winter use. It's clearly up to Castelli's usual outstanding manufacturing quality. It's been very comfortable on it's own in an 8C - 14C range, with no base layer or outer, if anything a little warm. Feels a tad chilly in the first few miles, then normalises.Teamed up with a shell or a base layer it's clear it would be fine at lower temperatures. Putting on a light shell over the top completely uprated the temp tolerance. It's very breathable, and so far seems to be waterproof, different grades of unique gortex front and back. The vents are well forward and high under the armpits so easily adjusted with when riding. Helps with the aero at least, there's nothing baggy about it.Very pleased with it, so autumn winter and spring are largely sorted with a single garment with a bit of tweaking, that's a huge leap up from all the normal layers. Not cheap, but it looks and feels worth it so far.

Love Wearing the Perfetto !
16 December 2021

I now own 3, Perfetto long sleeve Jersey's (jackets) first one was bought in 2016 size XL, should have bought an L, next was the Perfetto Ros in 2019, Size L, and now received the new Perfetto Ros today; size XL. I like all three jersey's; although they are all different in size!! I'm 178cm tall weigh 73kg, the first XL Perfetto (not the Ros) is a bit roomy on me. The second a Perfetto Ross is Large, a real snug fit; especially under the arms. Now the new Perfetto Ros XL, received today is just sizing between the other two Perfetto's (not tight) but (not Slack) so for sizing of the new Perfetto Ros, for my height 178,cm and weight 73,kg XL is a comfortable fit with a good L/S Base layer. if you a wee bit taller and a wee bit heavier ? say 180cm and 76kg, it would ... MoreI now own 3, Perfetto long sleeve Jersey's (jackets) first one was bought in 2016 size XL, should have bought an L, next was the Perfetto Ros in 2019, Size L, and now received the new Perfetto Ros today; size XL. Minimalist, lightweight and comfortable
20 April 2021

A beautifully minimalist, lightweight and comfortable jacket. Excellent materials and construction. The large rear pockets provide easy access. I have not used the pump sleeve at the rear as I do not wish to have any rigid objects this close to my spine. The mesh-backed side vents provide helpful temperature control.I am a little taller and slimmer than average. I often find it challenging to find clothes that fit well and provide a long enough sleeve length. Pairing the Perfetto ROS long sleeve with the Perfetto light Gloves provided an excellent overlap at the wrist.Coming from a mountain bike background, I am not used to the snugger fit of road cycling clothing, so I bought a slightly larger than recommended size.Highly recommended.

Brilliant jacket, covers all bases and ticks all boxes. Versatile enough to tackle most temperatures and all but the very worst conditions.I ordered my usual Castelli small size and initially feared it may be too small. After wearing the jacket in the house for half an hour I found the fabric stretched a little and resulted in a perfect fit. Great piece of kit and if I was only allowed one three season jacket/jersey it would be the Perfetto. The orange is very high vis unlike the Castelli orange which is more toned down to a pumpkin colour. Two rear pockets allow easier gloved access. The inner pump sleeve I choose not to use. Nice controversial jacket
23 February 2022

I am 95kg 1.85cm weekend warrior with some extra weight & a belly. The xxl is tight- very very tight, particularly at the sleeves/shoulders. Yet I used to it, it took me a couple of times and the jacket took the shape of my body as well. I would prefer it however just a little bit more comfortable in the upper body. The membrane is light; a bit thicker & brushed in-front (infinium 205) than the rear (203). It's not particularly warm and at 4-10 degrees that is advertised, you need a layer or /and you need to work on-the bike to generate energy and warmth. If you do this you will be fine, it keeps the cold air out. between 10-14 degrees is the sweet spot of the jacket for me but my rides are not so intense and the feeling of cold differs to each one of us. Like others said its definitely more comfortable when you are in the riding position and it should work very well for more serious riders.

Really good jacket, going to buy another
1 December 2019

This is a very versatile, well made, well thought through jacket. I bought it as a replacement for my Gabba which for me was the gold standard non summer cycling jacket.I tried out the Perfetto but I was unimpressed and sent it back. This jacket I think is really good. It has a quality feel about it, and is nicely designed with 3 good, deep pockets at the back and small pocket on the left side that I find useful for my keys and sometimes a credit card or money.I've been out in it from -2 to 13 degree Celsius. I prefer being cool to being cooked. At minus two I wore it with Craft Cool base layer. Perfect. You can adjust the inner waistcoat and open up the front to get fine adjustment. It keeps the rain off too. I try and avoid wet conditions but I got caught out, and whilst my legs got wet, the jacket kept the rain off without issue. The back length on my Gabba was a bit long (XXL), the Perfetto was too short. This jacket is spot on.I'm 6'1", 13.3 stone, chest 41" (186 cm, 85kg, 106 cm). Quite broad shoulders and long in the back. XL according to the size guide, but I bought XXXL after having tried out XL and XXL.

Surprised that it is as good as it is

If I lost the jacket or it was damaged I'd order another in a flash, even at retail price. I've only had it for just over a month but have managed to ride in it from 5-13 degrees, sun, wind and the odd shower. It's great at keeping the wind and rain at bay - this was the primary reason for ordering. I live in the Surrey Hills so no matter which route I take, there will always be a climb or two during my ride and the jacket is excellent at keeping the elements at bay and copes very well with my temperature rise after about 45 minutes. I love the pit zips on the front and use them on most days after I have warmed up. This 'jersey' is identical in terms of materials and form to the Ros convertible jacket, you just can't unzip the sleeves. The XXL is a far better for me as I wear a second skin base layer beneath. Lastly the orange is nice and bright, don't doubt the colour rendering of your screen!

Top notch jersey for cool weather
11 April 2023

I picked up one of these for the cooler weather over spring. The fabric, quality, and stitching is superb. It really looks the business! I've worn mine between 1 - 8 degrees with a light base layer and it's kept me warm whilst maintaining airflow. As others have mentioned, the sizing is small so I'd recommend a medium if you're usually a small in other clothing. Excellent price and service from Tredz too as always.
