I had a car that needed 5W-30. This one is 10W-30. 0W-40: 0W{Winter} is thinner when theengine is cold, 40 is thicker when the engine is hot. Oil thins when hot, but you don't want it too thin. Only thinner when cold. 0W-40 gives the best protection against engine wear.

I used this in my 2.0TFSI Audi A6. My car was smoking a bit when accelerating heavily and seemed to use a lot of oil too quickly. It does have about 185000km on the clock and is a 2010 model, so not a youngster anymore. By using this product, any sign of smoke disappeared suprisingly quickly and I observed some improvement in oil use and a slight improvement in fuel consumption as an added bonus, within the first 500km of driving after just topping up with this bottle.
