Cat's Best Smart Pellets Cat Litter | 5 kg

This is by far the best kitty litter I've ever used for my cats. . Virtually zero dust, locks in odour and clumps very well, the urine is trapped and locked in immediately and emits no odour. Providing you remove faeces and the clumps of urine that form daily (or directly after use by the cat when you're about) there is no odour wafting about in your home as with other litters. Best of all, once the matter is removed, the remaining litter stays fresh and you can indeed keep using the litter up to 7 weeks before a complete change. All I do is top it up when required. So although the initial purchase may seem expensive, across that period of time you use less, waste less and in fact save money. I urge anyone to give it a try. It really is that good!

Absolutely cats best!

best cat litter I ever used. It is environmentally friendly and I never throw anything away unnecessary. The pellets make it less of an issue in the rest of the house.

Better than others on market, but original is still the Best

As a regular user of Cats Best Original, I thought I'd try the Smart Pellet version despite the higher price ($72.99 for 10kg vs $71.99 for 13kg), to see if it would help with the only downfall: litter lightness means tracking through house by paws and humans. I won't be re-purchasing, but will return the original version, as the 'smart pellets' still track both whole and in their broken down form. Additionally, more clean litter is thrown away as the pellets stick to the soiled litter, meaning it's used up more quickly. It is still more economical than most of the 'cheap' litters on the market, the 10kg bag lasted over 5 weeks with my 2 large male cats and remains odour-free. Easy to dispose of

Completely Odourless

I do like this product but have two issues with it. First, the clumping is 6/10. The clumps fall apart too easily when removing. This does not happen in their other non-pellet product. Second, it tracks at least two metres past the tray. This is a massive improvement on their non-pellet product, which tracks throughout the house. (Some of the tracking problem maybe due to my cats very hairy feet). But because this is the first product I have found that really is odourless I would still recommend it.

Great Great Great

I bought this over a month ago to try and pleasantly surprised. And totally agree just as they say. So pleased hardly anything comes out of his toilet tray. I was formally using the original clumping one which I thought was great and continued to buy however by GorgeousBoy appeared to get it in his eyes and ears as he would put his head down while covering. And being a big feline and fussy often had it heaps outside his toilet tray not to mention lots of tracking into other rooms.

My new go-to litter

I have two short-haired indoor cats and was converted to Cats Best Clumping Litter about four years ago. It is definitely THE BEST because it doesnt smell AT ALL. However, when I moved to my new apartment with all wooden floors, I noticed that the litter was tracking everywhere even into my bed and the litter was causing dust everywhere. I decided to try Cats Best Gold as the reviews said it tracked less. It can confirm it definitely does. I dont have the tracking problem at all now, but it is a little bit more difficult and time-consuming to remove the clumps which tend to fall apart much more easily than the normal Cats Best. You also have to be careful not to waste perfectly clean litter with the lumps. Really reduces tracking

The bag doesnt last as long as the other Cats Best clumping litter, mainly because there is a lot of wastage of unsoiled litter while scooping out soiled litter as the unsoiled pieces dont shake out of the scoop due to their shape and size. So economically not A+ . Also agree with other reviewer that there are loads of small particles mixed in with the broken nooodle-looking bits. Like its been adulterated with the other Cats Best clumping litter. +4 stars. The DRAMATIC reduction in tracking is worth every extra penny I pay. No more random bits of litter underfoot 40 feet away from the box. Or worse, on the bed. At best this litter might spread in a 5-7 foot radius of the litter box. Have not noticed any increase in odour, and my anxiety-prone cat has taken ... More-1 star. Really the best litter

So glad we tried this litter. The pellets are small and soft - not a problem if you stand on stray pieces barefoot. They really do clump, making it easy to scoop up. The best part is there is no odour at all. It didn’t last seven weeks for us (only two weeks) but we have two cats using the one tray, and our male cat is obsessed with digging, which means the clumps sometimes get scattered in small pieces throughout the litter. Overall I think it is the best litter and worth paying more.

Very good litter

I've not used much litter in my life, but this is good quality. I fostered 5 kittens and their mom for 2 weeks, I changed litter only once (for the rest of the time I just cleaned out poop clumps) and truth be told, I changed the litter only because I felt one week is long for 6 cats! It could probably have lasted even more than a week. Instantly absorbs urine, the litter box didn't smell of cat pee at all, even after a full week. I gave it 4 stars because it still made some dust when you shuffle the litter, I've read there's litter out there that doesn't do this.

theres a reason its called the best

This is without doubt the best cat litter Ive used. Helpful that it can be flushed down the toilet too. Hardly any gets tracked through the flat. Cat is perfectly good at using his tray with this. Good at reducing smells. Only downside is he seems to like it too much, comes in from the garden to use it, then goes back out again !
