Catit PIXI Cat Drinking Fountain, Running Water Fountain, Blue

The Catit Pixi Drinking Fountain keeps your cat hydrated with fresh flowing water, which cats naturally prefer to standing water. The Pixi Drinking Fountain holds up to 2.5 litres of water and uses technology that pushes only filtered, running water to the surface to ensure your cat can get a consistent supply of clean water to support proper kidney function. The compact design of the Catit Pixi Cat Water Fountain means it takes up little floor space and is much more stable in comparison to other fountains, as well as being made from plastics that are BPA-free and therefore more friendly and sustainable for the environment. The Catit Pixi Drinking Fountain has an ergonomic design for optimal comfort, meaning your cat won’t have to bend into awkward positions, with the included spout accessory fitted to create an arching water stream. The Pixi Fountain also features an LED status alert and auto-shutdown, notifying you when it is time to refill or the fountain is out of water. The Catit Pixi Fountain includes a Triple Action filter that purifies your cat's drinking water. It is recommended that you replace the filter every month or sooner as it will become visually saturated, allowing bacteria to form within the fountain. The filtering system uses triple action to remove magnesium and calcium from tap water, while also removing chlorine odours and bacteria, and retaining stray hairs. All these minerals can gather in your cat’s urinary tract and lead to infection, which is a common health issue for cats. The Catit PIXI Drinking Fountain can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Its effortless structure means all parts are accessible and can be cleaned with water and natural soap, provided the Fountain is rinsed thoroughly after cleaning. Measures 20.5x20.5x17cm.
