Best litter I have ever used. I gave my cats 3 types of litter to choose in 3 litter trays and they both chose this litter every time. Never ever have any smells as it has incredible of our control and out of all the litters I have used you have to change it less frequently. Highly recommend it’s been a game changer!

Only ever buy Catsan cat litter and am pleased with it. However I must point out these bulk packs are of a lower quality compared to buying the individual 7kg packs you buy of Catsan elsewhere. This litter doesn't last quite as long and has much finer, smaller particles.

I used this for approximately 19 years with my previous cat. It was great but the last few years it was very dusty and often made me feel like I was getting asthma when I changed it. (I dont have asthma). I now have a new cat and when I got him was told not to use this with kittens, so I used a paper type litter. As he got older I mixed it with Catsan, but still found the pee smell was bad. I have just started using Catsan by itself and the odour is gone and it lasts much longer than paper based litter. In the 2 year absence of using catsan it appears to have improved as it no longer has dust and my breathing is fine. It does scatter a bit but is worth the slight inconvenience to have a good clumping, almost odourless litter tray!

There were problems with product packaging and your packaging. Catsan Ultra is packaged in plastic with built in handles. Three of these broke when the product was lifted to carry from the box. Not good.Now for your packaging. Catsan Ultra comes in a very very strong carton. Why do you put it in another equally strong same size carton instead of simply sticking a label on the original Catsan carton??? Every little helps save the planet people! (And keeps your costs down)
I've been using this brand cat litter with my cats since I was a kid.The product definitely changed a few years ago but it's still superior to other brands. If you scoop it out once or twice a day you can get about two weeks out of a bag.It controls odour well. It clumps pretty well. I would not use the cheaper crappy noname alternatives, the cardboard pellets etc that leaves your house stinking like urine. Pay a little more and it lasts longer and doesn't stink your house out.

The litter needs to be ground up to be very fine powder and then mix with very fine sand at a ratio of 1 part litter powder to 9 parts fine sand. Mix it dry very well and then slowly add water from a spray bottle, mixing as you go so that all the sand is just slightly damp. When you can squeeze the sand into a ball with your hand and it stays together and can break cleanly, it is ready for use. If your hand has sand sticking to the palm the sand is too wet and needs to be dried out. This is important, because if too wet the mould can explode when pouring molten metal into it because of the steam build up. I have tried numerous clumping litters of which have never bettered this product for odour control, cleanliness and ease of use.I have not required liners, no need and I have found the cleaning process so simple.My kiddies are healthy, happy and certainly have not complained and it makes my life easier due to health and mobility issues.
I loved the Catsan Natural but I turned to this litter as the other was too expensive over time. I have never been more disappointed in a litter in my life! It does not clump at all, it just disintegrates into dust when scooping up which is so concerning, considering if I leave it there my cats are wearing on wee dust so now I have to throw it all away. Biggest waste of money ever!
This was the only litter my previous cat would use. Now I have two kittens and I've been trying out a few cheaper brands. But in the end Catsan wins again. It clumps up really well, controls odours, and is far less dusty when compared to cheaper brands of litter.
What makes Catsan value is that lasts and lasts without a ridiculous amount of odour. Catsan isn't dusty (no foot prints) I pour a whole 7 KG into Luna's litter bin and clean out the waste daily, a number 1 (wee) doesn't spread out and consume a lot of litter. In the long run it's very cost effective. I think I've tried them all over the years , but Catsan is the best IMO. Cheers Steve
