Started using this out of necessity, because my usual Pets At Home non-clumping for kittens litter, was out of stock for over a week (packaging issues apparently). I was worried he wouldn't take to this one, but he was fine. There's much less odor with this one too and it seems to absorb moisture out of the poo, so less likely to get a dirty scoop. I scoop it twice a day and change litter weekly. Kitten is happy. I am happy. Won't be going back to his old litter. It's Catsan from now on! :)

Of all the cat litter products I've tried, this is my favourite. It does track through the house a little bit, but it's not powdery and leave dust clinging to the cats fur or paws. I can read there are some people complaining about dust being a huge problem. There is another product on Ocado from another brand wish very similar packaging that absolutely awful for dust and mess. I've used this particular product for years and not seen a deterioration of the product or different performance. I only used another one as this was unavailable for a few weeks.

Best litter out there but sadly the latest price increase is utterly shocking. I stopped buying regularly at asda when last price hike hit hard but seeing this today has really upset me, people are giving up beloved pets due to col crisis and now almost £5 hike…. Pls stop making it so much harder for people asda. You must see people are buying elsewhere as I am

Originally used wood pellets, (which I've used previously) for a couple of days which were too big on her little paws so quickly switched to the non-clumping Catsan which was so much gentler on her little toe-beans. She loves it! We have a covered litter tray for her comfort and privacy, it gets cleared out (of poop) each morning and checked again in the evening, if she's been again and the litter turned over and sprayed with a gentle deodoriser which keeps it clean and fresh until it's weekly full change. It's super absorbent and stays extra fresh for the week so she has a clean and safe environment to use. I've always used Catsan Odour Control Cat Litter since I became a cat mum 3 years ago. Living in a bungalow as I do, making sure there are no strong odours coming from her litter. This is by far the best litter on the market. For once, a product which does exactly what it claims to do. Admittedly it's slightly more expensive but it keeps odours at bay so worth every penny.
All of my cats are a bit awkward haha and each one usually dislikes certain other ones. It’s great because it doesn’t clump so if any of your cats/dogs eat any, it won’t clump and absorb inside them! It also definitely does absorb, I’m guessing the bad reviews must’ve emptied the tray just after it was used. It goes straight to the bottom and it takes a minute to absorb. It works really well with litter liners. It’s the only one that actually stops smells, as long as you keep it clean by removing all waste. I sometimes push the top few inches onto another tray because it’s still like new, then replace the dirty bit, lasts much longer. It’s also antibacterial so I presume that is why it doesn’t smell.

I always use this product. Now. Yes i know, it's not the cheapest. But, it's extremely, ++++ absorbent. There's never urine odour either. The larger granules don't seem to stick to the cats paws, unlike the smaller granules of other products I've used. Just a few on the mat next to the litter tray. The cats don't use it during the day, as they're adults now. But it's used at night. Easy to remove soil, purrrrrfect.
This so one of the more expensive cat litters but for my 4 boys it's the best choice, trust me I've tried others but I always come back to this and it's our cat litter staple. I have one fully indoor cat, and this is good quality, never smells and doesn't need to be changed every day, if you remove solid waste. Its Highly absorbent, locks in smells and isn't as dusty as other brands. It's not the cheapest but over time it balances out. I have a digger and he loves to dig to Australia everytime he uses the tray, when it's fresh he takes a litter bath so it can get flicked about as it's fairly light weight. Only problem if you step on a stray piece in the dark it's like stepping on a Lego and hurts in bare feet.

We have 4 cats using our trays and although the litter can neutralise the smell for a while, after two or three days the smell of pee was definitely becoming more apparent. Replacing litter every couple of days is just not practical. Technically, you can attempt to separate the used (grey) from the unused (white) pellets but it is a bit of a handling and you end up throwing out a lot of unused stuff anyway as it all gets mixed in.
