I recommend this product because for me it works and it's effective. I usually put this on as a prep to get my skin ready for any skin care and then follow up with makeup. The texture is beautiful and again if you like to prep your skin before you do your makeup and your skin care then you need to add this mask to your rotation.

Effective, but not for blackheads

honestly, not a major difference. it did help remove dead skin cells. it came off very easily with a warm washcloth and left my skin feeling smooth. my target was to remove blackheads, but this mask didn't do much for that. if you are looking for a deep cleansing mask, this isn't it. it isn't much of a detox. it does clean your skin somewhat, but definitely not enough to clean the pores. i recommend investing in an oil cleanser as i have found they work better. however, everyone's skin is different. that's just what worked better for me as far as a "detox" goes. :)

Fabulous Mask

I love to try out masks to see how well they work and what they can do for my skin and I am almost always disappointed, but this product,Caudalie Pore Minimizing Instant Detox Mask, is the exception!! This mask is fabulous!! It came out of the container so easily, went onto my skin effortlessly, and did not make my skin feel tight, itchy, etc while wearing it and the feeling of the product was actually surprising to me, i usually dont like the feeling of the product but this one...wow, just amazing!!! Longstanding fan of this mask!

I have been using this facemark for over 10 years, it had been rebranded but the product is still the same. I have dehydrated and sensitive skin and this is one of the very few products I can not live without. It is a very simple product, it's gentle, non stripping, non irritating. It really does keep my skin clear and bright. I think the people who are saying this product is over hyped are used to aggressive and fast acting products and you shouldn't listen to them. This is a very old school product, it's simple, effective and I wouldn't still be purchasing it after 10 years. I could not recommend this more.

Not for mature or dry skin

This mask is very intense and drying. As a fair skinned person this mask is designed as such that you cannot see how much of it and where exactly you put it on your face, my skin tone matches the mask colour exactly. This is a very smart tactic by companies who did their research on who will be able to purchase them and use it regularly. The mask takes a very long time to dry, it takes 30 min or so on my face to dry completely, if not more. And as it dries, its extremely uncomfortable. The mask also has a fragrance added, absolutely unnecessary and expensive process. Think of people with skin sensitivities and allergies. Absolute pass.

I haven't used a clay face mask in ages before I purchased this during the sale, and the results after washing this clay mask off was certainly shocking. First of all, the fragrance is minimal, expected of a face mask, and the texture is smooth and thick which makes for an easy spread. After 10-15 minutes when it dries it turns from a orange shade to a milky sage color, and becomes hard to the touch. It's easy to take off, and when the face is pat dry, the smoothness of the skin, and lack of noticeable porous texture is pretty stunning. Now this isn't going to take away texture, but what I found was that on my cheeks where the pore is quite visible, had looked to be cleaned and therefore not as noticeable. This is a fantastic clay mask! Even feels luxurious going on! Some others will feel stiff and like putting actual mud on your face. Not this one! It feels like a thick creamy lotion that dries quickly and you can actually see what it’s pulling out of your pores! I don’t use this often but when I do it feels like a detoxifying experience. Not essential but definitely a good treatment when your skin is feeling congested.

Very Impressed!

Thoroughly impressed with this clay mask. I do have dry skin so I only used it on my problem-pore areas and the results were nuts. I didn't think my pores were actually that bad but this mask brought out A LOT of dirt and cleaned them right out. I will mention that you can feel an initial tingling on your skin when you apply the mask and as it sits and dries, you can feel your skin tighten as well. my face looked visibly cleaner and tighter after this mask and it really didn't dry out my face as much as I thought it would. I wish I had taken a before picture to show the difference! I will definitely be purchasing again.

Very good mask for issues with pores!

I used this yesterday evening for the first time and was really happy with the results. I like the texture and consistency and how easy it is too smooth on. I like that it dries up in the recommended 10 minutes leave-on time. I have tried many other masks that just stay wet and goopy the whole time, and to me, it just feels like they don't do much. After I washed this mask off, it felt fresh and clean. It was not difficult to wash off. I did notice an improvement in pore cleanliness, especially as I have a few very large/damaged pores on the bridge of my nose, and that is where the difference was most apparent to me. I didn't put anything else on my skin last night as I was trying a new product and wanted to be able to gauge and any reaction.
