Caudalie Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil - 150ml

I use this cleansing oil whenever I have stubborn makeup on especially eye makeup. first of all, it is supposed to make your lashes longer. I can attest that my lashes have been healthier since using this (however, I have backed off of mascara). I also love that it is extremely gentle but NOT difficult to wash off. I've dealt with cleansing oils before (super expensive one in mind!) that legit would not budge! With this Caudalie Cleansing Oil, I'm able to just use my hands and warm water to remove (unlike another brand's where I had to scrub off with a face towel--I don't need all that extra exfoliation bc I basically have sensitive skin and use retina for acne). I do use this in conjunction with another face cleanser (the other cleanser is used after this). It does not dry my face, and I have used it for about 6 years now!

I put a couple pumps into my hand and rub it together to warm it up, I massage it onto my waterproof mascara first and then into my eyebrows and the rest of my face. Alittle bit goes a long way. I dont need to rub much and it dissolves my waterproof mascara almost immediately. I take a cotton pad after and wipe it off and it takes all my makeup off easily. I like that I dont need to keep wiping over and over to remove mascara and it also feels hydrating on the skin. My skin doesnt feel irritated after using it. I follow with my regular face wash and theres not left over residue or makeup.

This was such a miss for me. I've used many cleansing oils and this is not like any of them..and not un a good way. It doesn't feel like an oil that glides on your skin but rather like honey that you need to push and rag across your face. It's so thick and difficult to work with. It leaves residue behind which is fine during a double cleanse, however, I feel like my 2nd cleanser even has a harder time getting rid of the excess cleansing oil. It didn't leave my face feeling clean at all and it clogged my pores a bit. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone who likes a good cleansing oil or balm.

I bought this product on a whim, after speaking to a sales rep. I explain to the sale person I was looking for a product that takes off my make up and the daily dirt and grim. I watched a video on YouTube about the proper ways to wash your face and it explain a two step process where you was your face with an oil-based product, which is this product.As you wash your face on a dry surface, that's right you don't wet your face first. I think this is great as I feel it does a better clean and it really makes contact with my make up to break it down.I will definitely buy this product again. I do recommend using a really good day/night cream to help keep your face fresh and hydrated.

I'm really enjoying this Caudalie cleansing oil. My local Sephora was out of stock of my usual Boscia cleansing oil, so I was recommended to try this one instead.So far, I'm liking it. I use this as the first step in my night time cleansing routine, followed by a foam cleanser. I love how gentle it is and doesn't strip away moisture. It does a good job with removing all my face make up from the day, but I don't think its QUITE as powerful as the Boscia one I was previously using. I've noticed that after I use this oil, there is still a little bit of make up residue still on my face, so I have to follow diligently with my foam cleanser to get rid of everything. Best First Cleanse - Super Effective, Gentle, Great Packaging, Priced Perfectly

This is my best first cleanse of all time from one of my favorite skincare brands. I have tried so many other cult-favorite and more expensive oil, balm, and gel-to-balm cleansers and I always end up going back to this one. It removes all of my makeup, does not irritate my eyes at all, and leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturized. The nutty fragrance is very minimal, subtle, and natural. I find myself looking forward to washing my face whenever I have this in my lineup. The pump dispenser makes it easy to use and mess-free. I am lazy and find balms in jar packaging so cumbersome with unnecessary extra steps. It also allows you to use a more consistent amount of product each time vs. balm cleansers. I've used other cleansing oils before and this is my favourite. It removes all traces of everything (I don't wear foundation, so can't comment on that. But it removes all my waterproof eye makeup easily without any tugging or stinging) . Massaging into dry skin , it really gets deep down and you can feel any grime stuck in your pores, come upto the surface as it softens and lifts out. These feel like little grains of sand across the skin. Honestly amazing how much hardened grime a good oil cleanse can lift out of your pores. I like that this emulsifies with water. It rinses perfectly clean with zero residue and is great if you have very very sensitive skin like me as this avoids the need to use cloths to remove it and any tugging or pulling.
