Excellent large field of view. Nice close focus, eye relief & weight.Purchased to get the nostalgic look of a earlier era, with current technology added. Case & bino straps suck!Found that bino fits nicely in a "Billingham" "Delta Pocket." To further the old fashion look I purchased a brass studded leather bino strap from "What Price Glory."RCY

These binoculars have good quality for a good price, they’rea lot of fun. I use them principally to assist in my astronomy. Ideally for astronomy, I prefer the Porro prism design with individual eyepiece (sport) focusing. One of my eye sockets is slightly deeper than the other, so individual focusing of the eyepieces maximizes sharpness. However, this limits the binocular to far away objects, like stars. These binoculars have variable focusing, not as good for astronomy, but it makes them more versatile; I can look at birds, ground squirrels as well as the stars. The 18 mm eye relief is comfortable for me. I wear readingglasses, but I don’t’ wear them when I use binoculars. The width of the eyepieces is not too wide and comfortable. The optics are high quality ... The opticsare not flat field, but I wasn’t expecting flat field for the price, so I’m not disappointed. For the most part the binoculars feel good in my hands butthe Porro prism housing can take some getting used to and is, when I’m not wearing gloves, a slight bit uncomfortable on my ring fingers. Part of this is that the edge of the Porro prism does not have any armor or padding. One of the main advantages of these binoculars is the weight, roughly 1.6 pounds. When used with a harness they are very comfortable.I wouldn’t want to subject these binoculars to extreme weather or harsh conditions or suggest that they be used for industrial/commercial use, but the fit and finish is good and with reasonable care, (don’t drop or bang them, keep them clean, etc), I speculate that they should last many years.I would recommend a harness as the supplied strap is, forlack of better words, so-so.In summary, these are fun binoculars that can be used to look at a variety of subjects with good optics at a reasonable price.

Really happy with this binocular! Very slight aberration on the very edges, but it?s barely noticeable. It?s perfect for stargazing, birdwatching or anything else. Comes with eyepiece covers, objective lens covers, neck strap and carrying case. I?d recommend to anyone!

See it and take it all in, wherever you are. The Ultima 8 x 32 mm binocular has a wide 8.1° field of view, just over 400 ft. W when measured at a distance of 1,000-Yards. It's the perfect choice for watching deer move through a meadow or a home run ball fly into the bleachers without moving your binoculars. But the possibilities don't stop there. Ultima binoculars are great for almost any activity, including sporting events, sightseeing, birding and wildlife observation, hiking, and more. These classically styled binoculars use their Porro prism optical design to provide optimal image clarity and depth of field. Their widely spaced objective lenses enable enhanced triangulation between binocular and subject, presenting the observer with a rich, 3-dimensional image that only traditional Porro prism binoculars can offer.
