A wide variety of exercise options which is nice. The unit is compact, takes up about the same space as a walking machine, but in saying that it is too small to accommodate larger people. I am 6" and some of the functions won't work for me (like the leg extension) or are too limited in range to get a full work out (Lat pull down) .Assembly was 3.5hrs on my own and I am a mechanic, just read each step thoroughly to avoid mistakes. You can just snug all fixings until fully assembled before doing a final tighten, apart from those that are under the machine which you won't be able to get to after it's built. If you can, go in store and try it first to ensure it suits your body

I used to own one of these once before, not this brand and sold it a few years ago and decided to get a new one. Great that this one has a couple of extras to the old one I had. I had no choice but to get delivery as I couldn't lift it but then found out for an extra 30 bucks they could flick it to another company to do both delivery and installation so I was like hell yeah! I built my last one and it was a terrible experience. The guy that delivered and installed it came in like a hurricane - and had it built in less than an hour because he new exactly what he was doing. AND he cleaned up all the rubbish. If you are doing yourself - you are reading instructions - figuring out nuts and bolts and it can go on for hours and I have a bad back so the installation was a ... MoreI used to own one of these once before, not this brand and sold it a few years ago and decided to get a new one. In face the buying experience was made better because it was delivered and built in an hour. It is a great beginner level gym. So far I have had no issues and I have used it for a couple of weeks. If you are already quite fit you might want the next one up as this weight system only goes to 50kg. For me I have struggled with exercise with a chronic back and this has been great.

A nice compact unit and well priced. Make sure your car can fit the main box of 2m approx long into it. Took me and my son about 4 hours to assemble...but those with less 'mechanical' experience might struggle to achieve the same time. Backrest post base plate was welded slightly off-centre and could benefit with a slight design change to ensure this is more accurately aligned. Weight top bar connection instructions were a little hard to understand, but worked it out. This needs more clarity. I would suggest foam mats be placed under to protect timber floors and carpets from indentations and ensure a non-slip exercise area. Don't lose any of the bits....not a single spare item left in kit.

Overall a good product that does what it says. The design of the leg extension cross-bars is not great as the large end caps prevent it from being adjustable for people of different heights. Some of the small plastic caps and other little components are not correctly sized and are a bit too easy to split if pressed on the way the instructions say. Fairly minor but irritating issues that bring it from 5 stars down to 4, but minor in the scheme of things and still good value for money.
A good piece of equipment. Unfortunately the original box was missing a number of critical pieces and Rebel customer support were not particularly useful (wanting me to return the set to a store, difficult to do partially constructed and when the machine weighs ~150kgs). Eventually received replacements. Set works well for the price. I bought for my retiring parents, and the weight range suits them nicely. Anyone looking to build serious muscle will likely struggle with the default weights that come with the machine. Installation took a while, but instructions were clear enough and it worked perfectly once installed.
The gym was straight forward to assemble by following the instructions and clearly labelled cards with bolts, washers and nuts. The gym is relatively compact and the 50kg of integrated weights accommodates my needs well, it also has the ability to add more weight if required. The multitude of activities available is quite good and suits my needs to tone and keep my fitness levels up. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to have the home gym option without needing to spend large amounts of money, it is good value for money.
This is a good, beginners multigym. It is pretty sturdy and was easy to assemble (though does take a little while). I only say this is more for beginners as the weight stack is quite small with not much room for increasing. For some taller people, you may also find the range of motion is quite limited (lat pull down in particular). However, this is expected as it is quite a small machine, in terms of overall dimensions. Some suggested exercises or info on correct form etc would be useful for beginners too. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and have used it regularly as part of our exercise plans.
Now that I have it set up and tweaked, it's been a good buy - especially during lockdown, or to have some heavier weights exercises at home without needing a spotter.I had some trouble initially - although the instructions look daunting, assembling the machine isn't too bad. They recommend two people assemble it - I managed to do most of it myself, but some of the final steps are easier with a helping hand. They also recommend two spanners for assembly, but if you have a spanner and a ratchet set it'll make assembly a lot easier. The first night I used the machine the floating bolt holding the weights dropped, which absolutely demolished the rubber spacer on the weight stack - make sure it's secure, and *check it every time you change the weight* to make sure ... MoreNow that I have it set up and tweaked, it's been a good buy - especially during lockdown, or to have some heavier weights exercises at home without needing a spotter.I had some trouble initially - although the instructions look daunting, assembling the machine isn't too bad. The machine still works fine without it, but the peg can be a bit of a squeeze because it doesn't quite line up.Some of the instructions could be more detailed, too - you're told to use the wire guides with the pulleys but it was trial and error until I understood how and why they were used. And there's a guide for the wire that leads to the bicep burl bar that I had no idea what was for, but when I had assembled the machine was facing the wrong way for the room setup (it was also tough to put in).It doesn't come with any of the tools for assembly so before you order, make sure you have:- A rubber mallet- Two spanners, or a spanner and a ratchet set- A free afternoonIf you can spare the cash, the GS-2 would be a better machine but this works fine as a basic unsupervised weights machine
This is an excellent gym set up. We are using it in our garage as a home gym. We followed the instructions when setting it all up, and it wasn’t a problem at all. Just make sure you follow the instructions and don’t rush ahead, they are easy to follow. The entire gym set up is very easy to use and has been made very well. The equipment is sturdy and my husband and son use it daily. We are more then happy with the quality and price of the gym.
Been looking at this gym for a few weeks & purchased it on sale. It’s perfect for my needs, I’m only 5’, 49kg so don’t need anything any bigger. The 50kg stack is plenty, use up to 30kg atm. I bought extra attachments, tri rope, stirrup handle, v shape row & a wide D bar. So can do a huge variety of upper body. From rebel I bought this gym, the half rack & FID bench all member prices, excellent value for money & my husband put it all together in 3 hours no problems. (Also purchased a CrossFit package from Verve + already had a few pairs of hex dumbbells so my gym is complete)Absolutely love my gym room now.Only thing I would fault is where I sit on the gym that bar is slightly bent to the side not completely straight as it should be.
