I love my salt, but as I get older I realize I get high blood pressure somewhat easily and salt is a major culprit to that. This here actually helps to lower your high blood pressure. Both doctors and chefs recommend it. With all the vitamins and minerals to it, it actually is beneficial to add to your food. If you read the reviews on Amazon you'll notice many people will put a small pinch in their mouth prior to drinking water. This essentially adds electrolytes to your water. It helps your cells absorb the water you intake so if you're dehydrated this will help you more-so than just drinking the water alone. You only need a pinch, literally. I highly recommend people to look it up and read on all the benefits it has. It's expensive for a reason, but well worth it.

I will use the salt for the rest of my life. I will never go back to Morton iodized table salt.(I don't rely on the Celtic sea salt for sufficient iodine however, so I get my iodine from "Maine Coast" brand kelp whole kelp leaves which are also sold here on iHerb site, whereby a tiny pinch of kelp has something like 500% of your daily requirement of iodine. A tiny pinch of kelp can go onto salads or smoothies.)Regarding the Celtic sea salt I will close by seeing this. I don't need buy Gatorade electrolyte drink anymore there's no need. If I need electrolytes I take a bottle of spring water and put a pinch of Celtic sea salt in it.I hope this helps, (and I also hope we never run out of it it's too many people buy it.)

You can get it for relatively cheap at green grocers, and I chose to try this brand as my first grey salt because the name is trustworthy, the reviews are great, the product is quality, and was happy that the salt turned out to crunchy and delicious. I'm happy with the decision to move away from Himalayan, and next time I'll try their Makai as I didn't know it had a higher relative trace mineral content than this one.

Great Expectations!
30 September 2023

I switched entirely from pink Himalayan salt to Celtic salt because my body was not seeing the results. This bag lasts a while, myself and my family for at least a few months and we cook multiple times per day. When I feel dehydrated, I sprinkle a bit of Celtic salt and let it melt away in my mouth, then after a little while drink water. The salt helps the water get to you on a cellular level. It also reduced my leg swelling since using it and it’s better, takes a little time (not overnight). It’s best to sprinkle it on after the food is cooked, in my opinion. Such a great product with tons of minerals and not a horrible price, a little higher than other salts (Table, Sea Salt) but the BENEFITS are priceless!

Upgrade your salt game!
16 October 2023

Not every change in your life has to be radical, sometimes it's a sum of 1%s and this is one great example of that. Changing out your usual table salt for a healthier salt richer in minerals is something everyone can do. I like the Light Grey Celtic salt to boost my minerals in a simple way. While most salts are a void of any minerals and may actually contain harmful chemicals due to harvesting practices, Celtic contains a number of trace minerals. The grinders can be a bit annoying at times as it's a wetter salt, but it's a small inconvenience. The only reason I don't it 5 stars is because their Makai Pure® Sea Salt is even better for extracting maximum trace minerals, that's their 5 stars, so this should be 4. Great product, recommend either.

I love the Celtic sea salt for its rich mineral content. I eat this with nearly every meal, and sprinkle it on after cooking, as I like the taste and feel of larger granules.I'll also take a few granules when I'm feeling dehydrated or low energy due to low electrolytes and I believe this helps.I put this into a glass spice jar and it will get stuck and clump up on the sides because it's a "damp" salt. Some people might think it looks "dirty" because of the grey color, but I understand it's from the mineral content.I appreciate that they're a family owned company and (claim to) have third party testing for pollutants like microplastics, mercury, lead, aluminum, etc. Although I haven't personally requested a COA, I hold more trust for a small company than a ... MoreI love the Celtic sea salt for its rich mineral content. Works great for electrolyte supplementation
30 January 2023

I purchased this when I learned, from several sources, that contrary to the information saying we should consume as little salt as possible, we often need MORE salt. My nutrient tracker showed me quite low for salt intake, so I bought this product to use in an electrolyte drink. It works great for that purpose, dissolving more quickly than other sea salt I've bought in the past, and having a significantly less "salty" taste when mixed. I wouldn't recommend it for table use, as it's a grayish color with a slightly damp appearance, far too coarse for a salt shaker and not sure how it would perform in a salt grinder. However, for what I use it for, it's perfect. It's in my subscribe and save list for regular purchase.
