This is the best nighttime cleanser I have ever tried. Wow! It removes all makeup and doesn't leave skin dry. I used to use micellar water before and after washing my face to remove all makeup, but with the cream to foam cleanser I just massage it into my skin for 20-30 seconds and poof! makeup is gone and skin is left fresh and clean.I've been using the foaming cleanser for years and love to use it in the morning. I'm not a fan of the the hydrating cleanser (it feels like lotion). The cream to foam cleanser is the best of both worlds.. please keep making this!

I typically use the standard hydrating cleanser at nighttime and the foaming cleanser in the morning (oily skin). Since I love the foaming cleanser so much, I HAD to try this product when I saw a foaming version of the hydrating cleanser. I love this new product so much! It makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. It does not really "foam" up a whole lot but after I noticed how it made my skin feel, I could care less about the foam. The standard hydrating cleanser kind of made me feel like a film was leftover on my skin, but this new version does not feel like that at all.

I followed the directions and wet my face with warm water, applied the cleanser, wet my hands with warm warm and gentlly rubbed. I love this product. My skin feels incredibly soft. My skin is sensitive, dry, ageing lines, red rosacea issue, Removes makeup, dirt, sweat, and my skin barrier is not disturbed. Thank You, CereVe!

Absolutely perfect as the weather gets warmer! I was on the fence about trying this as I do well with non-foaming cleansers because I use tretinoin nightly but need something a bit more as it gets warmer and I use heavier sunblock. This really does work well and does not leave me too tight like all a foaming cleanser would. I wouldn't call it "foaming" per se as it does not foam up much at all. I don't feel tight or shiny after using this and there is no burn. I don't like to spend astronomical amounts for cleanser and while this isn't the cheapest it can totally hold its own against more expensive cleansers. Will be trying their other products as well. Can't recommend this enough!

Which leads to me sleeping in makeup or putting on moisturizer on an unwashed face.However this product is a godsend on those lower energy days. I just apply some of this face wash with some lukewarm water and wash my face full of makeup for a minute or two. After, I just use a washcloth and some warm water to remove the soap. The restult: a soft clean face and all my makeup is removed, even my waterproof mascara. All I need after is some of the moisturizing lotion to hydrate my skin and I'm ready to go to bed. I thought I would try this once I ran out of my usual hydrating face cleanser because the makeup removal aspect seemed great. I have pretty good skin and only get the occasional hormonal pimple once a month but that’s about it. I have normal to dry skin and wouldn’t even consider myself to have sensitive skin. However when I started using this, my entire face broke out in pimples (like 50+ pimples). There are a LOT more ingredients in this product than the hydrating cleanser and that is not advertised, but stay away this is horrible.
This used to be an amazing product. Unfortunately Cerave appears to be cutting corners now. I bought a bottle of this over six months ago and loved it. That product worked well and had a thick consistency. I just bought another bottle and 1) It cost more for less product. The current “value size” is 16 ounces. That’s 3 ounces less than the 19 ounce product I purchased last time. 2) The product is watered down now. It was so runny, it went through my fingers. I had to use twice as much than I used to.
I’ve used this face wash religiously for the past several years. I recently bought a new bottle and noticed it’s not the same. It had a very strong smell, almost like glue. After a few washes, it burned my face, so I had to stop using it. I compared the new bottle to the old one that had just run out (which I had only bought a few months prior) and the ingredients listed are the same, but the smell and after affects are completely different. I had to put it away and buy a different brand, unfortunately.
I really liked this product at first because it removed eye makeup, but over time my skin became irritated and red. I couldn’t figure out why and didn’t think this could have anything to do with it because it was creamy, then after online searches, I found that deep in the ingredient list there’s salicylic acid. After discontinuing use for a couple weeks, my face feels better.If you don’t have sensitive skin, this could be a good choice for you.I’d suggest more clear active ingredient labeling.
Im grateful that someone else mentioned the odor. It smells like fuel if some kind. Almost unbearable. And a teeny tiny bit on my lip got into my mouth and it tasted so foul I cannot imagine this is a safe cleanser. I’m so disappointed because I really do like a lot of their line, but this made me want to stop using all of it. I actually thought “what if this is a fraudulent item I did buy it on Amazon,” because how could it be Cerave? What on earth could create that scent? And that taste that is making throat burn a little?!
