CeraVe Intensive Moisturising Lotion 473ml | Be and Care

I feel bad. I have a strong doubt about the authenticity of this Cerave product because there are misspellings in the label at the back.. Cerave has been my holy grail moisturizer and I usually bought it off the racks. And so when I stumble on it here in Lazada with the discounted price I got lured in.And to my dismay when you look at the label at the back of the product there's a mispelling of \"sans parrum\" instead of \"sans parrum\". I checked on it online and according to threads that I read it says that this is one sign of inauthenticity of the product. Idk seller. I checked other reviews with photos from your store and they don't seem to have the same problem as mine(?). Is it just my batch?I feel like I have been fooled. I bought this on sale as heard some good reviews on this brand and due to my dry sensitive skin, always looking for a body lotion suitable for myself. This comes in a 473MLs pump bottle which is great for less wastage and hygiene reasons. I found the colour of the label too much like a lot of other clinical brands, but is a good sign it is fragrance-free and stated on the bottle. The lotion itself is excactly what it described, Lightweight and oil free. I found the oil-free and very dry skin labeling conflicting so wasn’t really convinced with what I expected in results. I applied this on my face and general body area and was impressed it was totally absorbent without any residue. Result was softer skin. In fact it is excellent under make-up due to the lightness and didn’t clogg up my face like some creams. However, I don’t think it is suitable for those that have extremely dry /mature skin especially during the cold seasons I need a bit of oil/moisture to counter the dryness. That’s why I think Very Dry skin should be made in a separate bottle altogether and throw in some emollients/oil into the ingredients. Otherwise this is a great lotion for everyone and even the oily types should be suitable.

I have tried soooo many different face lotions and ALWAYS come back to this one. It is the only face lotion that doesn’t make my skin break out. It always makes it feel soft and hydrated. My routine is super simple, I watched an episode of Doctorly and he was talking about how you just need a good face wash, a good lotion and a good sunscreen, everything else is extra if you want. So I simplified my routine and my skin has never been better. I use the CeraVe Hydrating Face Wash AM and PM and put this on after. I bought this lotion because I was having a bad reaction to a different kind I bought. I needed something fragrance free, for sensitive skin. I bought this intending to use it only on my face, but then started using it on my body as well. It keeps my skin hydrated without leaving that heavy, oily lotion feeling. I love that, because I HATE when my hands feel greasy after putting on lotion. It hasn't given me any issues as a facial lotion, or on my body. It does sometimes have a very weird scent after I apply it, but when I looked it up, there is an ingredient that can create a weird smell when it combines with your skin. I've tried Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Burt's Bees, Aveeno, and Pond's, among others. None of these brands have held a candle to CeraVe.The reasons? CeraVe doesn't make me break out as the formulation is fragrance-free and free from alcohol and other common skin irritants. CeraVe visibly hydrates my skin without looking greasy or feeling heavy. I can wear this moisturizer under makeup without having problems with pilling, running, or greasiness throughout the day.Is it the cheapest price option among the brands listed? No. In fact, that is why I would try other options-- to save a few dollars here and there. I ripped open the packaging and squirted a good amount onto my ashy hands, I then baked chocolate chip cookies because who wouldn’t. But every time I was holding the measuring cups, I kept dropping it because of how the lotion made my grip very loose. Instead of quitting, I kept trying to finish baking. When I finally finished, I looked around the kitchen, just to see the ingredients spilled all over the counter. When I took my cookies out of the oven they ended up very soft, no matter how long I baked them for. When I tried taking a bite out of the hand rolled cookies, all I could taste was the lotion. I have been using CeraVe on my face for years. My dermatologist recommended CeraVe to keep my skin smooth and moisturized without that oily feeling that most skin creams leave behind. CeraVe is worth every penny and my skin looks great for my age with minimal wrinkles. The other great thing about investing in a bottle of this top shelf skin cream is that a 16 ounce bottle lasts for close to two years for me. One pump and the CeraVe in your hand will be more than enough to cover your face thoroughly. I wouldn't think of using any other facial skin cream. CeraVe is absolutely amazing. Once you have tried it you will be hooked and your skin will look better right away. Here's my current skincare routine (although mildly inconsistent) for some background -- I have normal to dry skin that is generally clear and “good.” It only occasionally "breaks out," meaning I get a couple of pimples, usually due to poor diet, but I suffer from dark spots after pimples whether I pick at them (I usually do) or not: 1. Wash face with CeraVe Hydrating Cream to Foam (sometimes I'll start with the SA cleanser and then follow up with the Hydrating when I need to double cleanse) 2. Tone with COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid (which I don't love because it feels more like a serum than a toner) 3. SPF: Varies This moisturizer makes me feel like I undo all the other steps of my skincare routine because it makes me feel like I'm wiping it off and just rubbing all the products I’ve applied around, even though I fan my face and wait a beat to let the them sink in a bit. I personally hate the lightweight formula because of how it leaves my skin not feeling moisturized enough. It's TOO light, like I'm putting creamy water on my face. It’s too slippery for me to comfortably Gua Sha after applying, but it also dries super fast so then I really can’t Gua Sha with just the moisturizer. Not enough moisture gets locked in, but the product itself (16 oz) lasts months (May-December for me), so I guess that's good. I'm still on the hunt for MY moisturizer. The product doesn’t seem to clog my pores, is fine in a bind, and if it's the only product you're using after washing your face, but if your skin is like mine you'll need to apply multiple layers for your skin to not feel tight. I'm assuming this prodcut works better for most people than it does for me.
