This skincare contains 3 essential ceramides that serve the following purpose: restore and strengthen your skin's protective barrier, retain moisture and keep your skin healthy. Nice thing about this oil is that it is suitable both for adults and babies and skin with a tendency to atopic eczeem. All in all it's a great oil, that cleanses off make up (not the glitters completely, but mascara and nude eyeshadows, and lipstick - removes completely) and spf as well.

This product is definitely not a one size fits all! It claims to be exfoliating with antioxidant benefits to help smooth rough skin. It contains salicylic acid, an exfoliant that aids in helping clear acne. It has zero fragrance, especially helpful for those who have sensitive skin. It also claims to be gentle on the skin which I can definitely disagree with. After using this cleanser, i’ve noticed my skin is very dry and feels tight, I RUN to my moisturizer when I am done with this product. My advice would definitely be to let your skin get used to the cleanser. I would advise using 2-3 a week and using a hydrating cleanser in between washes, letting your skin accumulate to the wash. The added salicylic acid is a nice touch for a tiny bit of exfoliation but it’s a cleaners so it not on the skin long enough to really have time to chemically exfoliate. Works great for my combination skin and doesn’t irritate my skin at all and I’m rather sensitive to many other cleansers. This one doesn’t burn or cause any discomfort or redness. Do a good job of removing most makeup and any dirt. You’ll probably need eye makeup remover for waterproof mascara or eyeliner. It didn’t break that down very well but that makes sense because they’re water proof products and that usually require an oil or cream to break it down and remove it gently. Great for hormonal acne and helps with skin texture

An esthetician recommended this for hormonal acne. It worked amazingly! She said to wet my face, put the cleanser on, let it sit for 5-10 min, then thoroughly rinse it off. My acne wasn’t as red or swollen even after using it once. It exfoliates well, so the texture of my skin was much smoother after, but a little dry since it removes build up and dead skin, so make sure you use lotion and sunscreen after. I have sensitive skin, so it did leave my skin a little feeling a little irritated for about 15min after, but the esthetician said that is normal and maybe leave it on for less than 10 min. I’m also sensitive to smells, this one doesn’t smell like anything. Some reviews said they had break outs after. I’ve read great reviews about this range, so started with the moisturiser after my sister recommended it! I love it! It’s light, absorbs great and has no scent! Bonus - it’s a lovely base for makeup! I then purchased the eye cream which to be honest was a little pointless for me as I’m young so didn’t see any difference/ improvement! THIS was the product I was most excited about! Honest review… it does remove makeup well and most definitely makes skin smoother however, I do think it tends to dry skin out quite a bit and that’s something I’m not particularly bothered with, as mine is oily! I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed and most likely will purchase again! I got this after I got the SA body wash. The body wash worked so well so fast that I thought I'd try their face version too. So I was kinda scared tho cause theres so many bad reviews about negative allergic reactions or something. But of course i was fine, and my skin reacted very well to it. My skin is combo and dehydrated with VERY easily clogged pores/hair follicles. Basically nothing was really working for my skin, which has a lot of deep clogged pores that result in closed comodones, black heads and the occasional zit. Like if I try to pop one of them it usually results in me never getting the white stuff out and creating an open sore from trying so hard to pop it out. So ne mindful of that!

Not for normal to combo skin. I would say it would definitely help those with combo skin that leans more oily to oily skin. Definitely not for sensitive skin either. I have combo skin that leans more normal. Not dry, not too oily, my nose is the most oily place and even then it's not horrible. I used to be very oily when I was younger and lived in a humid state. Though the cleanser does well at evening the skin and making it feel smooth and clean, it left my skin very dry, tight, red, flakey, and caused my skin to burn when putting on my moisturizer. I've never had a bad reaction to my moisturizer until then. Which tells me this cleanser completely stripped my skin barrier. The only place thats ever been senstive on my face has been my under eye area but only to sunscreens, never cleansers or moisturizers. I had to slug my skin just to renew my moisture barrier, and now i'm dealing with breakouts. Live and learn, no hate to this cleanser, i love cerave, but this particular cleanser is most definitely for really oily skin that isn't sensitive. Not for normal unlike what the bottle says. If you have normal to combo skin that isn't highly sensitive (if it is i suggest the hydrating cream cleanser) i highly suggest the hydrating cream to foam cleanser. It still has salicylic acid to exfoliate, but it isn't stripping and also has hyaluronic acid and ceramides to help rehydrate, without leaving you feeling greasy or dirty since it still has the surfactants of a foaming cleanser. I have the same smoothing effect, without the stripping. Also don't use this if you already use the 10% niacinamide serum from The Ordinary. 10% is already high (recommend no more than 7% total) and This cleanser has like 2-4% niacinamide in it, which is plenty for the skin, and using both is gonna over do it and make you more likely to have a bad reaction.

SENSITIVE acne prone

I thought to try this to take care of a few pimples I had on my forehead, and because it seems like everyone vouches for this product, I didn't think twice to try it out. Worst decision of my life! This product has RUINED MY SKIN! I hate this! I have clusters of deep pimples all over my face now. For one month, I only used this product to wash my face along with the Cerave Pm lotion to moisturize, and I have the worst acne I ever had in my life. I have little pimples everywhere. My skin looks so bad now. I thought what I was experiencing was the purging stage that everyone speaks about, but NOO it definitely is not the case for me. I wish I wish I had never heard about this product. Just because something works for everyone else doesn't mean it will for you!
