Cetaphil Body Wash, Ultra Gentle, Skin Soothing - 16.9 fl oz

I've been using this product for a long time, and I like it for those days when my skin feels a little extra oily. My only complaint is that I miss the days when it was an "antibacterial" soap. Those of us with acne really appreciated a little extra help in keeping bacteria at bay on our skin. I understand that the soap was changed at a time that there was a lot of hype in the media about resistance bacteria and such. For that reason, I only use it very occasionally now instead of daily like I used to. It's basically nothing more than "soap" now, although it's pretty good at controlling oil without drying out my skin. I just wish it were still antibacterial.

As I got older, I was starting to have skin problems. I developed dermatitis. My doctor recommended that I switch my body bar soap to this. I got a free sample to try. I will say the initial smell puts me off, very medicine smell, but then as the bar slowly disappears the smell goes away. The initial out of the bag is intense. Today this review is after 8 years of use. If you struggle with skin issues, I recommend this to people. It is a gentle cleaning bar that deep cleans but does not dry out the skin. NOTE: I live in Texas, HEB has the best prices on this product in store. Costco once a year has a sale of these online. Keep an eye out for the Costco price.

I have sensitive skin and was having some issues with itchy skin. My dermatologist suggested that I switch to this soap. I do love the packaging. Each bar is wrapped in plastic and then placed in a box. The bar has a smell but it is not a fragrance but rather the soap. I enjoy this soap because it does a great job of cleaning with no leftover residue. My skin feels clean and hydrated. No irritation. I switched soap brands and never looked back.

I have very oily skin and occasional acne. I had bad acne from middle school to high school and that’s when I was first introduced to cetaphil. I used both the bar soap and the liquid cleanser. The bar soap is great for anyone who has acne on their face, back, or shoulders. It’s very cleansing and strips the bad oils from your skin without also drying out your skin. It lathers up really well and has always been my go to when it comes to bar soap.

I have tried so many brands for sensitive skin my skin gets so dry and itchy but this is the only body wash I can use, feel clean and not have itchy dry skin. Love it Definitely a great body wash. Gel like formula that smells like cucumber melon to me. A little goes a long way. Smooth glide. Would purchase after trying and would recommend to family and friends. Great for everyday use

Excellent!

The liquid is super concentrated, very thick when poured / squeezed into balm. This means a little portion will do the wash throughly, which is rich and creamy. You can feel its super moisturising and do not feel the usual dryness after bath. It feels like your skin is not drying, meaning like a layer of moisture is applied. My skin feels soft and comfortable. The only drawback is it can take a while for the liquid to be released from bottle when bottle reaches 1/3 of the liquid because its thick and heavy. A pump design for this will be ideal. Hope my review helps you.

Good for sensitive skin

no detectable scent. lathers well even if u just use a little, decent sized bottle. i would describe the soap’s composition as kinda like the cetaphil gentle face cleanser (texture, lack of smell) if that cleanser lathered well (which it doesn’t lather at all). i chose this body wash due to the quality, i like that there are no parabens or formaldehyde-releasers. squeeze bottle package easy to use and it did not make my skin feel dry, it might benefit those with dry skin or eczema

Great for sensitive skin or prone to breakouts

This is my teenage grandsons favorite body wash now. He is at the age that is prone to breakouts and this Cetaphil hypoallergenic body wash for sensitive skin with aloe Vera and vitamin B5 really helps with that. He also is allergic to a lot of products. He gets itchy, splotchy skin with most fragranced body washes but not with this dermatologist recommended wash.

No irritations, suds up nicely!

The product works great for me. I am allergic to fragrances/perfumes/scents dyes and so much. I tested allergic to them also. I have trouble breathing where the throat does closeup and I have to use the inhaler.This the only soap product for a body wash that does send me to orbit and makes me upset. Use just use a little bit as it lathers a tiny bit and goes a long way. I use it from my face down to my toes.I do wished they sold it in the stores. I wished they would make a store with all their online products in the store and call it the Super Walmart GIANT.Make sure you get the exact one as they have similar names to them and ingredients.
