After trying de CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30, I started looking for a similar product formulated for oily skins. That's how I came across the Cetaphil Derma Control Pro. It's an oil absorbing moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30. It's lightweight, fragrance free and it promises to hydrate, absorb excess oil and reduce shine. By that I mean that it also felt like I had nothing on my face. After a couple of minutes, I applied my primer and there was no pilling. My makeup looked nice as always. In my opinion, this is also a great product for those who have oily/combo skin and don't want to wear makeup on a daily basis, cause it makes your skin look healthy and balanced. A Yes for my acne prone skin

Kept my oily skin under control. My Acne prone skin usually gets oily immediately after applying OTHER sunscreens. After applying this spf i didn’t experience any oily spots on my face. The sunscreen did burn my eyes but that was my fault because i rubbed my eyes shortly after applying the sunscreen. Any product that gets into my eyes usually burns, because sunscreen and location doesn’t belong in my eyes, DUH. This sunscreen doesn’t clog my pores, nor does it create new acne for my acne prone skin. If you skin is burning allow your skin time to dry after washing before applying the sunscreen, that usually helps me. This is a great product, does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky, oily, or irritated after application.

The first time I used this product I applied it on neck and face including eyelids and an hour later my eyes were stinging, tearing and swollen as if I cried for hours, I washed my face as soon as I returned home. I thought of giving it just one more chance without touching eyelids at all and staying only on the surrounding area and now I have no issues at all and have used it for almost a month, the texture seems and feels a little bit heavy but after applying it sets very quickly, with no white cast and it does absorb oil, even after reapplying it one or two times later. Excellent kept shine away and make up in place all day!

Very impressed with this face moisturiser with SPF. I have oily skin and have never been able to get through the day without having to pat off excess oil on T-zone and my make up would be ruined having to re-apply. I used for the first time with a full face of makeup and not only was i shine free but my make up stayed put after a full day in the office. It is a bit sunscreeny smelling when first applied but i don't mind as I like the peace of mind knowing it has good protection. SO glad i gave this a try as I was nervous about the size of bottle and price but I'm glad i have found something that suits my skin. Will be looking into their other products now!

I broke out really bad back then and there were a bunch of factors behind that (i.e. not sleeping well, not eating well, super stressed), but I think the big reason was the fact that I kept on switching up my skin regimen and I never stuck with one moisturizer. I needed a moisturizer that wasn't too oily and would protect me from the sun since I had to start taking strong topical acne meds. This one is AWESOME. It's super moisturizing and it doesn't make me look too oily. It works perfectly along with my meds! Also, it protects me from the sun. It absolutely controls oil throughout the day and I rest easy knowing I have some SPF protection on my face. Note: this does have a slight sunscreen smell to it. Nothing that lingers and it’s not overpowering, but when I apply it, I definitely smell the SPF. Personally, it doesn’t bother me which is why this moisturizer didn’t lose any stars. I feel like this is a great little bottle for a good price.

The is my absolute favorite day time moisturizer I’ve used yet. Yes it has sunscreen in it, but I don’t think it’s anything like a normal face sunscreen. For me, it absorbs right into my skin instead of sitting on top like a normal sunscreen would. Although this does help with oil control, it’s not going to completely mattify your skin. If you have issues with excessive oil, I recommend pairing this moisturizer with other oil control products. Also, don’t get it near your eyes and it won’t burn. Simple as that.
