Let me start by saying I normally hate anything and everything rose scented. It's not a note that I enjoy, but I really like it here! This is such a soft, sweet rose. It's so pretty and fresh! It starts out as a juicy, sparkly, barely-there rose. Then it dries down to a sweet, soft, creamy, barely-there rose. Yes, it's similar for sure, but very good girl is SO much better!!! It doesn't have that nasty, harsh, screechy dry down that some people find nauseating in Delina. I would actually say this smells a bit more like Delina Exclusif than the OG because it has more of that creamy, slightly powdery dry down, but VGG is still better than DE as well. If you're looking for a cheaper and much better alternative to Delina I definitely recommend this one!!!

Very Good Girl is a lovely, complex fragrance. Upon first spraying it, I was hit with an alarming alcohol smell that faded nearly immediately into a jasmine and citrus infusion. A little bit of lemon, and something bordering on bergamot. After this upper layer fades, which happens fairly quickly. the perfume moves into it's more enduring notes, which are much more gourmand. Starting with an almond note, and then into a heavier coffee, cocoa, praline, and slight floral mixture. It has a very heady musky sweetness. It reminds me of a really lovely incense. It finalizes with a woodsy, cedary smell, that is a little spicy and even more musky. I received this perfume for free and this is an honest review. I was really excited to receive this one. I love Good Girl Blush and was expecting something as elusive as the name, Very Good Girl. Unfortunately, it's very body mist-esque. It smells like Bath & Body Works "You're The One" but somehow with less longevity and sillage. It's an extremely light scent that does not do the top notes, Litchi & Red Currant, justice.There isn't any longevity or sillage, I smell a faint scent for about 20 minutes before it's almost long gone. I recieved this perfume from influenster, but i always make sure to be as painfully honest as possible.I'll admit I'm a little biased when it comes to Carolina Herrera's perfumes, but omg! Another one that smells absolutely amazing!longevity is definitely there, wore it out on a date, and my partner still managed to smell it on me after a whole day out. Range is good, but not top tier, people near you will smell it. Personally, I wish the vanilla had come out a bit more with this scent, but the sweet rose is definitely there. It's easily layerable, and personally, i find it day friendly, not as seductive as the original good girl anyway (despite being called bad girl, lol). I had some extra time at the airport so I tried this on at duty-free, fell in love, and then decided to order it online from Sephora. It is a very elevated, sophisticated scent. I did not feel it was "powdery" like other reviewers commented. Usually I wear flirty, floral girly scents, but this made me feel like a true lady with lots of class. It is a rose-based perfume but has both a sweet and a slightly spicy angle to it. Also, the perfume bottle is SOOOO cute it looks very beautiful sitting next to all my other beauty products! My only critical feedback, which my other friends who have tried it agree, is that it doesn't have as much staying power. You really have to spray a lot all over for it to stay on for the rest of the day.
