Champs Elysees Eau De Parfum Spray by Guerlain - 100 ml

Champs-Élysées is not a typical floral perfume. It smells smells like an idealized version of spring in Paris with notes of mimosa flowers, champagne, and powder. It's special like all Guerlain perfumes. It smells charming, expensive, and feminine in a wearable, inoffensive, not too much way. The bottle is beautiful too, my photo doesn't do it justice.

This is a classic frangrance for the floral parfum fan. You really have to love florals to appreciate this one. It truly captures the smell of a botanic garden in spring. If that's what you're looking for you will love this. There are no other fragrances out there that even come close to having the same sort of smell as this one, it's very unique. I think it's worth hecking out to see how it works you. It could defintely be a signature scent for any women. So feminine.

I love perfume. I have a few bottles but these are my all time favourites. I must have started something with my 3 daughters as they all collect perfume with over 100 bottles each in their collections. Now they buy me perfume. I love this scent. I started wearing this when I was about 21. Wore it out to a club and got hit on because they said they noticed my perfume smelt so good as I walked past them. 😄 I hadn't owned any for years and my daughter bought this for me for Christmas last year. Highly recommend this one.

Chamade is one of those fragrances that not many people know about, but is a classic that is still around for a good reason. No matter the strength, it’s so beautiful on and throughout the day. It is a soft floral, that has some greenery to it. Its a great spring and summer fragrance, but there’s enough warmth it wear it in the colder months too! The best part is that it lasts throughout the day! It dies down to a soft projection, not loud at all, but loud enough that someone will compliment you.

A Guelrain classic from the Jean Paul era

One of the last great classics from the last member of the Guerlain family to produce scents. Chamade is quite a prominent scent that bursts upon opening (spraying). If you let it dry down for ten minutes, you'll find a gorgeous fruity floral that is effervescent and lively. The florals are not white or yellow, but more a bouquet, made sweet by the fruitiness. For an EdT, this has quite good longevity; about 3-4 hours. Go easy on the initioal spray and top up over the day. You'll get less of the initial burst, and more quality linear scent.

Classic Guerlain

I adore vintage scents and Guerlain specialises in complex fragrances for real women. I love L' heure Bleu by Guerlain because it is so long wearing and gorgeously feminine. Vol de Nuit is more subtle and suited to day wear in my opinion. It's fresh, woody, a hint of leather and then settles to that classic Guerlain powdery floral bouquet. I actually find the EDT long wearing although other reviewers have struggled with it. I always get compliments when I wear this because it is a classic and so different from modern perfumes. This is a great price too.

Gentle but Chic YOUNG Woman's Perfume

I haven't worn this fragrance for the last 30 years because I AM an "old lady" and Champs-Elysees is so completely the scent of a gentle, lovely YOUNG lady that if anyone got wind of it and then realized it was coming from me, they would be horrified and I would be utterly humiliated. I did wear it for the first ten years after it came out in the 1990s. It has changed over the years, but it is still the only department store fragrance that has interest and beauty, without harshness, cloying heavy sweetness, or any other lack of finesse. Some young mothers use its soft loveliness when they are reading their toddlers to sleep. Or unmarried women spritz on a trace to help them fall asleep themselves. Sometimes I spray a bit from a store tester on a piece of paper just to enjoy its unfussy charm. If you've decided that low-key femininity is you, and has its up sides, perhaps this is the scent that expresses you best.

Jury is still out, until I've tried it.

Have not opened this purchase yet. It will be interesting to compare it with the one in the original packaging. I am just hoping it is still exactly the same and not an "updated " product. I did love the shape of the original bottle and couldn't see why it needed to change. The perfume itself is one of my all time favourites for summer, very light and lasts well. I've had lots of people stop to ask what perfume it is. The comments and star rating refer to my original bottle.

This is my “ Signature “ Fragrance !

I’ve loved this Perfume for years . I always have a change now and again yet I always go back to my Guerlain Champs Elysees Eue de Parfum Spray 100 mls . This is true scent , It’s the only Fragrance that when worn other Ladies ask me what I’m wearing ! . I once bought on line and I was sent “ Champs Elysees “ Eu De Toilette , correct bottle with a sticker on the bottom saying Eu de Parfum. ! Not from this firm . The Beautiful bottle , difference in appearance - but correct Scent . Unbelievable Price . !! Trying to track down the “ little “ bottle of Pure Perfume” - I love it that much !
