that deep red shade is gorgeous both on cheek and lip. is probably flattering on most and great for evening outtings. i didn't find it sticky perhaps, in the application? i applied a small amount without digging in, to the back of my hand and then tapped on until blended. like a more luxurious selena gomez blush(which i also really love). did make my lips feel dry after a while. but the sexiness of this color is worth having moisturizing balm on hand too.

I purchased berry boost and love it. It's a stronger pigment than I expected. I don't wear foundation so I can't speak on how it affects foundation. I do wear tinted sunscreen and bb creams. I wear those products over the cheek color and it actually softens the pigment. I rub the product till it kind of melts on my fingers and apply to my lips. It lasts about two hours before reapplication was needed. That doesn't bother me since I didn't expect it to be a stain or long wear. Quality camellia flower products are always expensive. They are expensive in Korea and Japan at least, from my experience. This is why I find the price of the product to be fair. This is the best product I’ve bought from Chanel. Every time I wear it I get so many compliments that my skin is glowing. A simple dot on the cheek and lips lifts the complexion. Started using just for casual engagements but now have even started to use it for work. Will remain a staple in my makeup bag.

While I think this balm works better as a lip product, i didn't have the same issues using it on the cheeks compared to other reviewers. I apply over foundation using a stippling brush with a stippling motion & this lays the product down nicely and doesn't lift foundation. I set it EVER SO LIGHTLY with loose powder and that helps keep it from being sticky & improves longevity - which is surprisingly impressive for a balm like product. Despite setting it, it still has the most beautiful and natural glowy finish. Staying power on the lips is like any other balm product in that you'll have to reapply after eating/drinking. On the lips it gives a nice flush of color, with good pigment but sheered down really nicely. I also used it on both bare skin and with foundation underneath and it only worked well on bare skin. It lifted the foundation beneath it despite me using the lightest of touch. It stayed super sticky on the skin which I really didn't like, and even an hour later it hadn't settled. I purchased the color lively rosewood and i love it. I'm almost down to the end of my jar. I have medium/medium tan skin, usually wear a 2.5 or 3 neutral in Dior foundations. The color looks exactly like my natural flush, so when im a little pale i can add this plus mascara and i look so pretty. However, this on top of a full face of makeup just adds that pretty flushed look! Subtle sheen, lasts very well. I love it and will repurchase it, which is insane because i have so much makeup. I use a brush to apply since my nails are long.
I love it and use on cheeks and lips. I apply a small amount to the cheek bone and blend with a brush. Then I apply to lips with a lip brush. It applies well if you use the brush.I’m 60+ and lip liners and lipsticks don’t work well anymore due to fine lines above the lip but this product is a game changer for me. No lip liner needed and the color is very saturated and brightens up my face.
Beautiful colour and long lasting. The product is buildable so it’s easy to go from subtle colour to bold. Amazing multi use product and I love the portability, so easy to chuck in a handbag for touch ups throughout the day/night. The formula is perfect, not drying and not too shiny, very natural finish. I’ve bought 3 now, highly recommend!
As a makeup artist, I was excited for these as I love all things cream blush, I bought them all and I'm thinking about returning them and keeping one for the sake of comparison for YouTube.They stay sticky on the cheek. If you wear a mask, these will get everywhere. It is a balm after all. I had them on for about 30-45 mins waiting for it to set down and it didn't.The red shade stains the skin. Maybe it won't stain darker skin, but it leaves a magenta/pink stain after it wears away or at the end of the day when you go to take it off.The consistency is balmy, as you would assume. Not like the tower 28, but more so like the Fresh Sugar Hydrating balms! Or the Danessa Myricks highlighting Balm. They are much more pigmented than I originally thought they would be. ... This is more hydrating than some very expensive lip masks that I use which shall remain nameless. I've put it on at night before and it really locks in the moisture into the next day. This is by far my favorite lip color to use in the winter as it's the most occlusive one I have found. Even after some of the pigment fades, the occlusives and emollients seem to last. The colors are super flattering and it both looks and feels extremely luxurious on the lips. Super high quality product that for me has been worth it.
