I bought them as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loves this lipstick very much. The lipstick is smooth, has a light scent and is long lasting. It applies extremely beautifully on the lips. My mother looks very beautiful with the lip color. This packaging looks simple but luxurious, just press lightly to open it. Worth spending money to buy it.

This lipstick from Chanel’s 2020 Holiday Collection has the Rouge Allure line’s intense color and signature creamy, hydrating formula, but with tiny micro glitter added for a little holiday sparkle. Both have subtle shimmer that catches the light in an understated, yet elegant way. If you can afford the price tag of $45 a tube, I’d definitely recommend picking one up. They truly are special. The packaging alone is just gorgeous with the sleek black tube and gold edges. And the mechanism that opens it is so unique. The tube is inverted. You push down on the top of the tube (which is actually the bottom) and it pops up to reveal the lipstick. I absolutely love Chanel lipstick! I am kinda obsessed about how fancy this lipstick is. When you open the box you see a classy black velvety case in which there is this lipstick. The description is 100% accurate where it says "an ultrafine, melt-away, second-skin-like texture." The texture of this lipstick is unbeatable. It doesn't feel heavy or gloopy on your lips. In fact I can't feel it at all. I got shade 58, Rough vie, which is a very warm-toned, dark plum with a satin finish. It’s good colour to wear on daily or a date. The texture of this lipstick very creamy and formula is pigmented. It can stay fresh on my lips for good 3-4 hours.

Its well named in a captivating way (more the romantic notion of Pirate) than the marauding buccaneers of the sea! Definitely expect a Red Letter Day with this shade of red. I always prefer the Rouge Allure range in Chanel as the lipstick glides on smoothly, providing good coverage and moisturising lips (once my makeup is on, I do not like to retouch it - I expect it to last). However, if eating and drinking, it does gradually wear-off, just like other lipsticks albeit some colour remains on the lips. Perhaps lipcoat would help (Ive never used it). Certainly applying lipliner prior to application helps longevity of the colour. Beautiful colour and luxurious texture

I got the colour 53 for my wedding, it’s a stunning classic red.It’s a very creamy and easy to apply formula, but it does transfer when eating/kissing so you need to be mindful. The colour is stunning but it does stain your lips- not a negative for me.The staff member at the Highpoint store was so helpful in finding the perfect red shade for my special day, thank you!

Classic colour

I love all the Chanel lipsticks, they all have good quality and nice. I love the color, and totally love how my lips feel and look. The color is a classy shade. Not loud, but not a nude. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't last long. However it's very creamy and pretty. It is great for day or night depending on how you apply and what coverage you want.

Perfection

Chanel has always been a quality brand, and it shows in this lipstick. I prefer mattes, but they are always so drying and tend to feather and make your lips look horrible. Not this lipstick. It is moisturizing, multidimensional and rich in color. I have extremely fair skin, medium copper hair and brown eyes. I purchased #45/Intense, and it is the most beautiful, vibrant shade that brings light to my face. I have so many other lipsticks, and I keep reaching for this one.

Yes it is - awesomeness

The lipstick texture is rich , it stays on for hours and it does not bleed. Only a light touch up through out the day. It’s matte appearance does not in any way dry out the lips nor crack. The moisturising component keep the lips moist. I have been using this for years and I get alot of compliments. It’s definitely a winner.
