I'm a perfume connoisseur, I make my own perfumes, room sprays, bedding sprays, etc. When I purchase a new scent, I'm definitely a tougher than average critic. I wasn't drawn to this because of it's reputation of being luxurious, I was drawn to this particular perfume because of my love for French perfumeries. Upon the first sprays I didn't like the scent to be honest, but after the second time around I thought it was absolutely lovely! I've never had that happen to me while trying a new scent before or since. Chanel N0. 5 is definitely a scent of sophistication and it's not to be taken lightly, your either going to love it or hate it, it's definitely for women who have a specific relationship with perfumes, not for your average everyday perfume wearer. Favorite and cozy CHANEL N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE in EDP concentration. This fragrance is year-round for me, because it is unintrusive, calm and restrained, at the same time so light, warm and native. Far from plume, intimacy is preserved and does not strain others, but there is its own "world" The laconic case is ideal for this fragrance, it reflects its whole essence. Simple outside - chic inside. Pyramid of aroma: Top notes - Aldehydes, Neuroli and Ylang-Ylang Middle notes - Jasmine and Rose Base notes - Vetiver, Sandalwood and Vanilla All the notes are woven, it is not possible for me to distinguish individual ingredients. The soft and enveloping aroma just envelops you and does not let you go for 5-6 hours, I would like durability longer, at least a day. The situation changes a lot on clothes, maybe an hour is added, usually my perfume stays on knitwear for a long time. Fine spraying of the fragrance, of course, pleases. It is easy to recreate a delicate cloud, dive into it for delicate and even distribution of perfume on yourself. The fragrance needs space and wind, applied and immediately went outside, there it will scream fresh air and find the same balance on the skin and will continue to carry it to the end. Aldehydes here are airy, youthful. Give well-grooming and elegance, complete the image. It is necessary to have the same classics as red lipstick if love happens.

Having worn Chanel No 19 Poudré for several days, I'm glad I didn't review it immediately. Today I realize that my initial impression was negative, mainly because No 19 Poudré isn't No 19. Neither does it leave a deep impression on one's memory, nor does it have the brilliant, original character of its predecessor. My reason for being drawn to No 19 Poudré is its ability to create a soft, tender veil around its wearer. This version is soothing and mellow, with a sip of warm green tea to the original's dry white wine. A powdery floral scent dominates No 19 Poudré. The feeling of talcum mist is almost palpable when I spray it on my skin. Though No 19 Poudré takes a few twists and turns, its powdery character remains. While the brand has attempted to modernize No 19, I find the makeup-like notes in No 19 Poudré to be alluring in an old-fashioned way. Retro, however, is usually what sells me. Orange and mandarin notes settle into a cool iris and hyacinth note, infusing No 19 Poudré with fruity sweetness. A contrast is created between galbanum and vetiver's sharp green notes and the powdery notes' softness and lightness. Tonka beans and musk dominate the dry down. The initial impression is of a fabulous veil of powder, but the dry down is reminiscent of a delicate cashmere wrap. Although it is not particularly noteworthy or dramatic at this point, it is pleasant and easy to wear. Poudré shares some similarities with its predecessor, but only for a second. Although not particularly interesting, the vetiver is blended with a very soft, clean musk, which is quite pleasant. Despite staying close to the skin for most of the day, the base lasts a good few hours. This is not a bad fragrance, all the notes blend nicely, and it smells like a pretty green floral of high quality. Probably not for N°19 fans, Poudré is much softer and lighter, but for those who find the original too harsh, it may be worth

I’ve had CHANEL NO 5 EDP spray the pure perfume as a staple in my collection of perfumes since I first was given a small bottle by my aunt. I always go back to it despite having tried just about every high end floral perfume on the market. There is simply no other scent like it. The floral aldehydes which remind me of a bouquet of flowers with a hint of clean, not too overpowering, but very noticeable gets me compliments every time I wear it. I’ve seen reviews where people say it smells like an old Lady, this is just a myth only because it’s been sold successfully for over 100 years now some equate this success with being something only old women wear. It’s a scent that simply be described as beautiful must be tried to appreciate it. It’s a scent that simply be described as beautiful must be tried to appreciate it. Floral with just a hint of sweet clean, long lasting it only takes a few spritzes on the pulse points. One 3.4 fl Oz bottle will last a long time even with daily wear. If I had to choose day or night wear, I would probably say it’s better for night wear as it is rather strong if you overdo it. Personally I wear it any time I feel like it, sparingly during the day heavy at night even sprayed on my hair. I purchased the set including the refillable purse spray this time to have it in my travel bag too. The bottle is beautiful on any vanity, heavy just the simple, but expensive design makes it stand out. The sleek black purse spray is an attention getter too. I would recommend getting the EDP spray over the pure perfume as it can be overpowering I prefer a spray. Definitely get this EDP spray over the EDT spray, the extra price is worth it. This EDP will work well on anyone of any age I would definitely recommend any woman to at least try it once, you may just get hooked like I am.

Chanel No. 5 Eau de parfum has been a classic fragrance for many years, but it unfortunately didn't meet my personal expectations. While some may find it iconic, I found the scent to be overpowering and quite dated. The combination of floral and aldehyde notes was too intense for my taste, and it didn't blend well with my body chemistry, resulting in an unpleasant experience. The strong floral bouquet dominated the fragrance, making it difficult for me to appreciate the subtler notes. Additionally, the longevity of Chanel No. 5 Eau de parfum was not as impressive as I had hoped. It seemed to fade away rather quickly, leaving me disappointed with the lack of staying power.
