Beautiful colour and finish, although the payoff isn't quite as opaque as it appears in the ad (more opaque than a tinted lip balm, slightly less so than a typical matte lipstick). However, you get none of the dryness normally associated with matte lipsticks. It actually feels like I'm wearing a tinted lip balm. I like that you can buff it into the lips for a worn-in look, or pair it with a lip liner for a more put together look.

I purchased this lipstick because in the bullet the color is gorgeous! However it doesn't show up on my lips. it could be the natural color of my lips is too similar to the color. It's also very drying. It goes on as a satin finish but once dried down feels very drying. Almost like a chapstick. Not very comfortable for me personally. But the packaging gets an A+! Despite the drying feeling I just ordered another shade hoping it will show up on my lips.

This is the best lipstick on the market today. It is creamy, moisturizing, and beautifully packaged. I purchased the 0200 and 0700 and love both colors. It is easy to control the intensity with application - want more color apply more coats and less color apply less coats. It has a normal and ample staying power for a moisturizing lipstick. Hope Chanel keeps this design package as it is very chic.

I was searching for a red lipstick but so many were either too pink or too orange. Chanel never disappoints, this is a sophisticated, beautiful red lipstick for fair skin. Applying is very easy, great staying power and surprisingly moisturising on the lips. Love Love Love
I wanted a lipstick that would be hydrating and would stay on my lips for a long time. The salesperson recommended this and it was the color I wanted. I’m so surprised that it actually works very well. I use lip pencil to outline my lips and then add this lipstick. I blot it and surprisingly it stays on even when I eat and drink! It is very hydrating and doesn’t show any cracks in my lips. I didn’t want to spend $50 for a lipstick and kept trying other less expensive lipsticks. I couldn’t find any that did as good a job as this one.

The new Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche lipsticks are quite different to previous Velvet releases. The formula is softer and creamier and is lighter and more comfortable on the lips. The finish is luminous, not dry and chalky like many matte lipsticks. I purchased No. 4, a moody warm brown and No. 6, a rosewood which, unlike its online depiction, is more "rose" than "wood". They are both beautiful and versatile colours.
By luck I attended Nuit Blanche years ago in Paris and have the best time so it was so cool to see this limited edition line when I was in Paris recently. I bought 3:00 and 5:00. The 5:00 is a spectacular color. I have fair skin and usually wear neutrals, but 5:00 is a one of a kind rich berry color that is so couture. The formula is so rich and comfortable- worth every penny. The case is also so cool- matte white metal that is spring loaded. I want them all!
Purchased this in shade 07.00, but am disappointed with it. Having had Chanel Velvet lipsticks previously, I was expecting something with good coverage, but this is really rather sheer, and I have to layer it to get it t show. I have fair skin so thought this shade would work well, but even on my complexion it hardly shows. As for matte, it isn't. While it is comfortable, and not at all drying, it has a definite sheen to it, and not from the luminous effect. I'll keep it and use it up, but to be honest, you get better colour and coverage from the Chanel lip balm in shade 'Light'.
Purchased the 3 shade color. I thought it would be a bright fuchsia but it was more like a pink. Still a nice shade and feels great on the lips. The lipstick packaging is heavy, nice touch. Would recommend if anyone looking for a moisture lipstick.
