I wasn’t sure about spending this much on a foundation but decided to give it a try. I have been using the les beige in B21 and in this foundation I was a perfect match at BR32.I have found this foundation to last all day long without a touch up. After 8 hours of work it looks just as flawless as this morning when I applied it. I was also concerned about the coverage since I need a true medium coverage and found the les beige more light coverage and it wasn’t quite enough. When I first applied I thought I would have the same issue but after finishing my make up - it looks amazing and is a true medium coverage. It doesn’t settle into deeper forehead wrinkles , even after a long day. I also had gotten a sample of the Sublimage crème and I can’t say enough good ... MoreI wasn’t sure about spending this much on a foundation but decided to give it a try. A little spendy but worth the price!

Since there’s no shade of Chanel BB cream for lighter olive skin I’ve been curious to try this. It’s really difficult for me to match a BB or nice coverage radiant higher-end BB/foundation without looking orange, pink, gray, or white cast. The Chanel foundations in ‘21’ and Cedar etc. are a perfect color match on me, but I wasn’t really into any of the formulas. This foundation is surprisingly good, but I wish it was in a hard bottle tube or pump instead. The brush is nice and actually applies well. Don’t dip it into the tub, use the spatula. I had to use about 5-7 spots on my face to get the coverage I wanted. I would NOT use a beauty blender to apply this, it soaked up all the foundation. I used a YSL primer and it helped it stay in place, but it still had some ... MoreSince there’s no shade of Chanel BB cream for lighter olive skin I’ve been curious to try this. I used a YSL primer and it helped it stay in place, but it still had some wear around my mouth and needed touch up or powder. I was looking for fuller coverage, but you can get it to medium+ with some spot concealer because this wears very natural and so radiant looking that you might not want powder. It’s the kind of foundation that leaves your skin looking nice even after you take it off. I like it a lot, but it was hard to justify the price with the type of containment (kinda hard to use and have to keep the plastic inner lid on) but I suppose it’s worth it with the brush and how radiant and hydrating it feels. I have early 30’s combo and acne prone skin, this hasn’t caused me any break outs and a wear it daily with a medical mask. I wouldn’t use it for high wear makeup it’s more of a everyday and casual coverage. Great option but you’re paying for the brush too, which I say feels worth $40 of the cost.

BEST! FOUNDATION! EVER!I purchased this Chanel foundation as a last minute attempt to find a good foundation for my mature, drying skin for my daughter's wedding. I immediately was wowed that it looked flawless and yet light, with coverage that was just right for what I was attempting. I found it to be long wearing and very much moisturizing and dewy from minute one to the end of the eve. LOVE IT!Yes, it is pricey, however after noticing the stock of half used not quite right bottles of foundation from varies brands in my makeup stash, this is well worth it and it will last quite a while, for it is quite concentrated. The trick is the PERFECT match. I did not have a Nordstrom store in my area. I trusted the customer help and they did not disappoint. I was able to ... MoreBEST! FOUNDATION! I am not a foundation person. I've started using Chanel Water Fresh Tint and to my surprise absolutely love it. I decided to try something with more coverage and with skincare benefits. First few times I tried this I thought it was too matte and dull, although smooth and still let skin show thru. I had resolved myself to returning it. Then I tried it with a thicker moisturizer, I had a sample of Le Lift cream. Now this foundation is amazing! Only a pea size amount with the spatula and my skin is radiant. Not tacky. Not matte. Just like skin. I discarded the plastic cover underneath the jar lid. Too messy and no need. For travel, no, you can't bring the glass jar with you but I have the small chanel sample jars that I can use. I'm so happy it's been the holidays so ... MoreI am not a foundation person. I'm so happy it's been the holidays so have not wanted to get out to return anything because I would have missed out on this.
I tried so, so many different foundations before I finally found this. I have psoriasis so my skin is either combination or dry. This foundation was recommended to me by a friend and it is amazing. This foundation is buildable. It is described as medium coverage, but on my good skin days I apply it very lightly to even out my skin tone and on bad skin days I can use more for better coverage. My only frustration is that it can sometimes be cakey depending on what moisturizer I use and I cannot figure out why. Some water or oil-based moisturizers are fine and others are not.
First of all I got this in shade 21 Beige. The texture mostly reminds me of the La Prairie 'Skin Caviar' foundation which I've been using for years, in the shades n05-Soft Ivory, n10-Creme Peche and n20-Pure Ivory depending on the time of year/tan. And on occasion I use Clé de Peau Beauté's 'The foundation' in shade BF20 - Light Buff. Of course these foundations are nearly twice the price of Chanel Sublimage Le Teint Foundation, so I was suprised when it was just as good as a $250 foundation. It's got a nice texture, looks subtle and natural, and doesn't feel like you're wearing any makeup at all. I personally don't use the brush that comes with it for the foundation, but found it does come in handy for my cream-gel bronzer I have with Chanel, since I was stuggling ... MoreFirst of all I got this in shade 21 Beige. I personally don't use the brush that comes with it for the foundation, but found it does come in handy for my cream-gel bronzer I have with Chanel, since I was stuggling to find the perfect sized blending tool to use with the Soleil Tan De Chanel. So at last I've finally found something for a reasonable price that actually feels and works great. The packaging is beautiful and heavy. The formula is beneficial to the skin with vanilla planifolia, diamond powder and precious oils, as well as signature ingredients from their Sublimage collection. I will continue to use my La Prairie and Clé de Peau Beauté Foundations but this is my new go-to everyday foundation, I absolutely love it.
This foundation is beautiful, and deserves 5 stars but the packaging is beyond bad. It's messy! I have to move some of the product into a smaller container so I don't have to deal with the potential mess every time I use it. Gorgeous foundation but unlikely to repurchase due to the jar container.
I've tried over 40 foundations/CC creams and this by far is my favorite! It's smooth and creamy, I sheer it out with a beauty blender, it does not settle in my lines and wrinkles or look cakey, it's natural looking and gives just the right amount of coverage without looking like makeup. The price is a little scary but it lasts me forever as I don't wear makeup every day. I can't say enough about this foundation. AND, I have super super dry over 50, Retin A laden skin and it's not drying at all. Sometimes I mix it with MAC face and body if I want a super lightweight look and it blends beautifully. Just please, please don't ever discontinue this foundation!
I have been using lamer foundation, Dior capture total foundation… until I got this sublimage foundation I would say: whoever make this is really considerable, comes with brush and little pan. I like how this foundation works smooth and radiant look. the gril work at channel introduce me althoughI don’t like how she is applying on my skin so rudely.
I debated whether to purchase - it's really expensive for 1 oz - but the reviews pushed me over. First, let me just say how much I love Nordstrom shipping, came in 3 days and always well packaged. Second, the packaging from Chanel on this is...excessive. I'm sure it's all about the perception of being luxurious, but the container is so large and heavy for 1 oz - could be half the size. The brush is cute but again, do I need a brush with every purchase? I have a drawer full of brushes, I really don't want another. Third, this is light to medium coverage - evens out my 49 year old skin but it wouldn't 'hide' anything. Best part though, it gives you a dewy, non-makeup driven look and feels so nice on my skin, so much so that I don't need to apply that extra moisturizer ... MoreI debated whether to purchase - it's really expensive for 1 oz - but the reviews pushed me over. Foundation can look cakey but this really does sit nice on your skin. Hard to decide the color considering the quarantine, so I looked up other foundations I had and their colors on this site, snipped the color swatch for them, and matched to the closest color for this. It seemed to work, the color really looks correct on me. See my image to understand just how small this is. Definitely not something I'll put on for the grocery store :)
