This powder comes in a beautiful silver container and contains a thick cushion feel powder puff. It is loose powder and can be a bit messy when applying to the face. You have to be careful not to spill it on your clothes, so I tend to pat a little bit out gently on the lid first and then apply.I tend to get oily around my nose even with matte foundation so this powder helps in reducing this, maintaining a matte finish throughout the day. I have had this for over a year now and I still have a lot left, you don’t need much to get a beautiful make up finish. It is definitely worth the price.

I have just discovered this powder (tried instead of la mer translucent loose powder) and I love it once I got use to extracting the powder that is! It's lightweight and gives a natural finish (no caking). Friends have even commented on my skin and it's down to this beautiful powder. A re-think on the packaging would be good as it is tricky to get the powder out but worth it

I purchased this powder because one of my favourite beauty Youtubers had highly recommended it (Michele Wang). She said that this powder gave her a natural, not overly matte finsh and that it got better as the day went on. I would have to agree with this. At first when I apply it it's like a lot of other loose powders I have, but after a short while it melds and really becomes one with the skin. Later on in the day it seems to look even better, my skin is radiant but my makeup is still set and in place. t's a beautiful powder just as you would expect from Chantecaille.

So happy I bought this powder! In addition to its excellent qualities, such as being hypoallergenic and devoid of harmful substances, I really enjoy the way it looks on my face. Although it doesn't provide complete coverage, it nonetheless evens out the texture and tone of the skin. It was comfy for me to wear in all seasons.
I compared this powder with the ko gen do powder and promptly returned that lighting powder mess and kept this one. Never knew how much powder can be different. So the ko Gen do made any uneven foundation applications to be noticeable and the ko Gen do didn't do this. It's a very lovely powder and the finish is beautiful and it keeps a light matte finish pretty much all day. It doesn't darken your foundation like some powders do and it doesn't make a ghostly cast. I like it with a brush or beat the poof it comes with before applying because it's hard to see the amount or powder on the poof and you can apply too much and make you look powder. This is a great powder.
This powder is great for mattifying and setting your makeup, but if you are deeper than Chanel Les Beiges Healthy glow Foundation BD91, you will need to blend out the finish with another powder (my finishing powder takes away the cast). And it does cling to thin liquids under the eye, so be sure to moisturize your undereyes if you plan on wearing a thin, light coverage concealer or complexion product (I used the hourglass retouch and the Charlotte tilbury Hollywood glow filter and both were so thin that the powder clung to my undereye wrinkles). When used with something thicker, this powder looks great under the eye. This used to be offered in a shade called "Subtle" which was more yellow and great for deep skin tones, but I will have to settle for this lighter powder.

I have combination skin so oily in the T-zone and it can be dry in other spots. This powder is amazing for magnifying while still looking very skin-like (not flat) and not accentuating dry patches. I find that as it's tinted it also does a great job of adding some additional covering for pores too. Formula aside, I think the amount you get (28g) compared to the standard 10g in most other high-end powders like By Terry, Chanel, ABH etc is a bargain as it lasts for such a long time. It's also one of the few powders on the market that isn't full of talc (a pretty cheap ingredient). This wonderful powder makes my skin look flawless. I use only concealer, this, and blush. I just attended my 50th school reunion and everyone commented that my skin was so beautiful, they couldn’t believe it. This is the only powder I can use (seem to be allergic to all the rest). Also, loose powder definitely gives a finer, more flawless finish-pressed powder is never the same. Thank you Chantecaille!
I really had high hopes for this because Chantecaille is a beautiful brand. I just can't get past the packaging, though - the metal container shows EVERY fingerprint. The lid also goes all the way down the sides of the container, like an old-timey powder container, and doesn't screw or click on in any intuitive way. I hated it so much that I actually ended up decanting all this powder into an old Too Faced powder container. The packaging just causes so much lost product and/or powder overapplication - I don't get how this design made it to market. The powder itself is fine, but there are definitely better powders out there. I have used the Chanticaille loose powder for year, it's amazing. Sets your foundation without leaving that powdery look. Don't know how they do it but once you apply it with a powder brush it gives your face such a glow, it's not shiny or glittery but just makes your pores & lines if you have, any, which I do, disappear. It certainly has some kind of light diffusing magic & the longer it's on your face the better your complexion looks. Actually makes your makeup last on much longer, it stay put all day. LOVE IT!
