Almost perfect! This comes in four shades, (Light, Medium, Tan, and Deep) and I'd usually go for a tan shade, but as my current foundation is already a tad darker than it should be, I felt Medium would be the right choice...and thankfully it is. l find CT's powder works well at setting my make-up and stays true to its claims of having a 'blurring' effect - because it definitely does blur my noticeable pores quite well and without emphasizing the dry patches on my cheeks or turning cakey later in the day either. It also gives a slight amount of extra coverage and when I use to set the concealer under my eyes I find it brightens the under eye area nicely. Love the classy gold packaging too (always a sucker for CT's packaging I'm afraid). However I do have issues with the texture: it’s very fine-milled and powdery, meaning that whenever you put your brush in, it tends to go everywhere, so you need to be extra careful if you don’t want to end up wasting it (and at this price every bit counts). I've tested this powder with a few different foundations and I feel the type and consistency of foundation you're using makes a big difference to the end results. For example my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation sets so much better and holds up longer with this and yet with my L'Oreal foundation, the CT powder was literally sitting on top, rather than blending in and ‘blurring’ anything. With my BB cream the finish looked more uniform but it didn't hold up as long. It really is hit and miss. But overall this is one of the better setting powders I've tried due to how flawless it makes my skin look (with the right foundation on underneath of course), and having both oily yet dehydrated combination skin, this is by no means an easy feat! -- My Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves

This pressed powder is worth the hype it gets! I've wanted to try this for so long from watching all the amazing reviews on how great it is but the price always held me back from trying it. I had a chance to trade some makeup with a great person on Instagram and she offered to trade her powder for a loose powder that I had. I prefer pressed powder to set my concealer. It just works better for me and isn't as drying under my eyes. This powder blurs the skin like no other powder I've tried. It makes my skin look completely smooth and flawless. It does look or feel dry or cakey and I only need a little bit to get the desired results. I'm so impressed by it! There are a couple down sides to it though. One, it oxidizes which kinda sucks. I have fair/light skin and use the fair shade 1 of this powder and after applying it matches my skin perfectly but if you're any lighter then me its going to be too dark. I wish there was one more shade lighter to make up for the oxidation. The other down side is its really easy to use it up quickly. If you used it every day you're only going to get a couple months out of it before you'll have to buy a new one and at almost $50 that can get expensive just for powder. This isn't a powder I could use everyday even though I would love to because I couldn't afford it lol but using it every few days or on special occasions to look flawless work really well for me. I really can not say enough good things about this even though it does have a couple cons. Its so soft and looks amazing but it also helps with keeping oil under control and sets foundation and concealer in place to last all day. There's only one other pressed powder that I've tried that comes close to this one and its the rimmel stay matte pressed powder but the difference is its much heavier and thicker. Not as comfortable and skin like as the Charlotte tilbury powder. I would recommend this product highly! Its very good and lives up to its claims and all the hype around it. It is pricey but after using it I feel its worth it especially as a treat to use on special occasions.

Oh goodness. This may be an unpopular opinion but I do not think this is worth the price. I wanted this for my under eyes and as a setting powder for my dry sensitive skin but I did not like this. I usually use Laura Mercier translucent setting powder but had heard so many good things about this I decided to give it a try. It did not blur my under eyes the same way. It worked okay for the rest of my face but nothing mind-blowing like the reviews on You tube say. I would say this is an average-setting powder. Three stars because the packaging is beautiful and I think that is what you are paying for at this point. If you need a basic setting powder there are better options out there. Maybe this works better for those with oily skin but for my dry skin it just didn't ... MoreOh goodness. This may be an unpopular opinion but I do not think this is worth the price. So I caved in after telling myself it’s insanity to spend almost 50$ on a powder- but here we are. This product feels like velvet In the pan and is just buttery soft. It sets my eyes beautifully. My only complaint is the price seems a bit unjustifiable (I mean if my girlfriend found out I spent that much on a powder she’d ask me if their was gold in it) which sucks cause I really love this product it’s just not wallet friendly for me in this economy. On the other hand I am a bit confused about the shades- I’m olive skinned but still fair- but shade 1 looks very white- and in the pan shade 2 is a bit darker but applied to my skin it pulls a little orangey or darker than it appears In pan- I might exchange it for shade one but it’s so hard to tell what your actual ... MoreSo I caved in after telling myself it’s insanity to spend almost 50$ on a powder- but here we are. So I try and make the right choice before leaving the store, however this one’s hard to tell if your not tan but also not super white. So just test them out in store and walk around for a few minutes cause I did notice the color shifted darker or pulling an orangey tone where as it’s lighter in the pan- but I only swatched shade 1 & 2 in the store quickly shade 1 was pasty but had I left it on long enough it would’ve oxidized to my True Tone, I might be able to make it work but just be aware the shade in the pan is deceiving. This is the softest powder though and it does an excellent job of blurring and setting. I only took a star off cause it’s so expensive, also I thought the packaging wasn’t plasticky and metal since it is a luxury item. I see why this product is beloved in the community my store can’t keep any of her products in stock, it goes by so fast
I absolutely love this powder and I recommend anyone to buy it. But- I have an issue with the component! I dropped the powder once while it was closed onto CARPET, and normally this wouldnt really affect any pressed product, but with this one, the powder part completely came out of the tin, broke, and I had to pick it up and put it back in and try to press it back in. It’s so sad because I wasted so much product. And this has happened twice! I have so many powder products, bronzers, blushes, other powder foundations/ pressed powders that have never done this when I drop them. I hope they look into this! It seems like an extremely fragile product. But I still really love the finish of it! I just know to be extremely careful with this product now 😅
Honestly, it depends on where and what you use it for. I have average/normal skin. I’ve used this to set my cheeks below contour, eyes and forehead. It really does give a flawless finish if I use it below (not u see, but BELOW) my contour. My skin looks great down there. On my eyes it’s meh. Nothing spectacular and pretty average. On my forehead it’s a clumpy mess and I’m not oily up there either. I have a really relevant frown mark that shows if I make a face and it DIGS into it and stays there. After about 20-30 min ny forehead looks super powdery and dry. I tried it different ways for a month, but ultimately I don’t think it’s worth purchasing again.
OK, am all about trying to recycle when possible so this REFILL seems like a good idea, right? WRONG! Just got it and tried to remove the existing insert from the compact. IMPOSSIBLE to accomplish without destroying the plastic housing holding the used one. Tried popping it out. No success. Used a razor blade to gently pry it away. Nope. This is one of those products that makes you question how you lived without it for so long… While it’s function is a little frivolous (it doesn’t improve makeup longevity and it doesn’t add coverage) what it does offer is the most amazing ‘finishing touch’ to your makeup that takes it to the next level. Like many of Charlotte Tilbury’s products, it manages to enhance skin in a way that is hard to describe. It doesn’t look like you’ve added more makeup, yet it visibly smooths and blurs, giving the skin an effortless finish that pulls the whole look together seamlessly. I have oily skin so it’s definitely not suitable as my only powder. It doesn’t add any dullness like many powders do, it adds the perfect satin-like ‘flawless’ finish and melts everything together beautifully. I’m only half-way through the product and I’ve already bought a backup! I would highly recommend.
