I have used multiple different kinds of foundations in my day and this just did not do it for me if you're between the ages of 13 and 25 with absolutely perfect normal skin I think that this would be an okay foundation for you. there's not a whole lot of coverage which is okay, I don't need it because my skin is not very bad. the coverage is light to medium, it is not long lasting. if you put contour powder blush all your other toppings on top of it it cakes up really bad and breaks up. I LOVE this foundation! It has been a long search, but I think I have found a product that I will use for a long time (or as long as it hangs around ;D). I have combination skin, and despite this being described as a “dewy” finish, my oily skin is not bothered by this foundation at all. It doesn’t make me oilier, and it doesn’t look so dewy that people think you’ve been caught in a rainstorm. It also blends nicely into my drier patches, without accentuating them at all. I can understand why the shade Neutral 5 is always out of stock, as it truly is the perfect NEUTRAL light/medium, without surreptitiously leaning too cool or too warm, like other so-called “neutral” foundations. I have extremely dry skin in the winter and this foundation hands down worked like magic for me. Feeling the most beautiful at almost 40

I noticed in my later 30s that my skin began to look very textured and just dull using foundations I’d always coveted since my 20s. This is another one of these lovely Charlotte Tilbury products that I have to leave a review for even though I do not leave reviews. This is hands down the most beautiful foundation that I have ever had the pleasure of using. I had a holy grail for many years but when it was discontinued in 2011 I’ve never found another until now. I like a dewy healthy hydrated makeup look and I skip powder. This foundation give me the exact coverage that I need and hydration. This foundation does not crease and I never have problems with transfer. The color match is the best. I use the corresponding concealer from the line. I do not have enough positive words for the foundation because this foundation is unmatched. The foundation came in a pump action tube, I primed and prepped my skin and used the CT setting spray prior and post application. I used a brush to apply and buff it out. It applied very smoothly and well, I did feel as though I had to use more than I usually would with a liquid foundation but the movability of the product on my skin was really easy. The ability to blend it was very easy, it left no hard lines with minimal effort, which the colour match was perfect to my skin tone! This may be due to the consistency of the foundation it seem almost a creamy gel rather than a “liquid”.The coverage was great, I felt I could easily build it if I wished, it felt light on but to touch I could tell I was wearing it. The formula was thicker than expected - reminds me of sunscreen. Ironic as this contains no SPF (but let's be honest - any SPF in makeup is negligible). The coverage is light to medium (more on buildability below) - it smooths skin/pores and covered up redness while my freckles still peeked through. The result is very pretty, natural, smooth, "my skin but better". I get excited to put this on for every day but also for fun on the weekends.Wear: I have combination skin - this was great on my cheeks with zero exacerbation of dryness or flakiness. My T zone gets quite shiny (even with setting powder) but a quick blot at lunch time makes things good as new. This is best suited for those with normal to dry skin. While from a coverage POV you can build this foundation up, because of the hydrating formula applying more has a tendency to make you more dewy (shiny). Combo skin can still make this foundation work but oily peeps will probably not enjoy it.Many say this foundation is not long lasting. As mentioned I needed touching up for oil but found it generally did well when I put it through its paces (heat, vigorous exercise). I think it looks decent by the end of the day but not flawless. While CT has used this on celebrities for formal events like awards and weddings, I don't think I'd be able to pull this foundation off for formal events.Price: Not cheapest but certainly more affordable than many high end foundations (also at 30 mL) which are priced higher. I use half to three-quarters of a pump for my whole face so can foresee a tube lasting a reasonable amount of time.Conclusions: while this isn't quite perfect for me (oil factor) I love using it. Smoothing, perfect colour and makes me look so natural and good. It's not quite holy grail status but it comes pretty close. Finally ok to retire the last of my old discontinued foundation and pass the baton on to Beautiful Skin!

I can't tell if it's because of the shade match - I got 4 Neutral (which was already lighter than the shades CT recommended to me) and it's too dark, plus the undertone may not be the best for me. Needless to say, I learned a lesson-- just because something is expensive does not mean it works better.The foundation is just about the right shade for my skin tone. However, the coverage is next to nothing. Due to having some red acne scars on my face, I had to use five layers of this foundation and two layers of concealer, plus loose powder, to cover up all of the red scars on my face.The foundation is much too oily, and gives my face a shiny/ sweaty/ tired appearance. In all cases, the foundation is too shiny/ oily/ glowy or whatever term you want to use. I then have to wait a few minutes and apply a ton of loose powder to cut down on the shine. Even though I've waited 10 minutes before I powder, and I remove the excess powder with a brush, then.... I have to REAPPLY more foundation as it has come off in spots and my red acne scars show again.Seriously, I've tried at least 30 foundations in my lifetime, everything from cheap drugstore brands to department store brands. This foundation, although packaged very nicely, does not seem to work as well as some of the cheap drugstore brands I can purchase at Target for half the price.
