This is the best large frypan I have used which I purchased to replace my old teflon pan (for health reasons). while you have be careful in how to clean it, it works fantastically well due to the cast iron construction. Peter of Kensington delivers very quickly with eco-friendly packaging.

Heats up very quickly and is easily cleaned. Stays on my hot plate for everyday use. Pity it doesn’t come with a lid to protect from spattering. Very heavy frypan and handle gets hot so you need a good pit mits if shifting.Linley Filmer

Really disappointed in this product. Food burns very easily in this pan. The food sticks to the base and is really hard to clean off. Has to be soaked each time I cook meat in it. Also the outside enamelled finish is also hard to clean. Finally it is quite heavy and difficult t handle when it is hot. I would have returned this item but unfortunately destroyed the carton before using the pan. I have a Chasseur French oven and really love it and have no problem cleaning it, hence the reason why I bought the frypan.

This is a quality product. It is worth spending the money on a frypan that will last. Kitchen Warehouse’s prices are really competitive. I will be fitting out my new kitchen with your products.
I previously had saved up to buy Le Creuset products but given Chasseur was also made in France and significantly cheaper, I purchased their enamel cast iron frypan. Unfortunately I now know why Le Creuset is more expensive as in my view their quality is superior. Also the handles in the Chasseur pan are too small for ease of handling what is a heavy frypan.

I have used my Chasseur white cast iron pan so many times since it was delivered. It's fantastic. I was originally going to order the same pan in black but decided to go with the white. I'm so pleased I did. It has white gloss finish & is so easy to wipe over, & washing is a breeze. Heat retention is good & appears to be evenly distributed with everything I have cooked so far. The handle does get hot, which I knew it would be. I use a silicone sleeve but a pot holder would be sufficient. I have a gas cooktop. I wanted to be able use in the oven as well so the wooden handle didn't suit my needs. Can't wait to try cooking a fritatta! Firstly I don’t have big hands . The handle is nonetheless too short and it makes it uncomfortable to hold it . Shame as the rest of the product is of excellent quality and the price was right ! Chasseur should make the handle slightly longer .
The black enamelled fry pan looks to be well made, with a smooth flat bottom that has a full contact onto my electric glass stove top. It weighs about 2.7 kilograms which might be a little heavy, though once it's placed onto the stove top it doesn't need moving until you've finished using it. I am pleased with the price and speedy delivery from Kitchen Warehouse, which has made this a good purchase.
