Easy to clean. Hard and solid. Heavy as expected. I just did a Prime Rib by using this on an oven for 3 hours and came out with very tender meat. It is as good as the competitor (le creuset and staubb)

I love my new very large Chasseur pot. My only suggestion is to change the metal handle on the lid for the plastic one supplied if you are only using it on the stove top as the metal one gets very hot!

So happy to invest in this quality piece of cookware. It takes your cooking to another level. It is the only pot I will cook risotto in. It looks beautiful sitting permanently on my cook top. Couldn’t be happier with the price too - managed to get it at a very reduced price, guess my timing was lucky.
After an unsatisfactory response from customer service at a Le Creuset store when the enamel on my 23 yr old Le Creuset casserole started popping like popcorn, I discovered positive reviews of Chasseur and Everten on a forum. While my new casserole is 400ml smaller than my old timer, it's much prettier, was more cost effective and doing a great job. Will definitely use Everten to upgrade the remaining Le Creuset to Chasseur
I bought this as a house warming gift for someone special as I have the same dish in a different colour. I find it invaluable for cooking slow cooked pork and lamb dishes there always seems to be an even heat and everything cooks perfectly. I have had mine for 5 years and it is still going strong. This really is an excellent product
Rust is coming through the inside base. I havent don anything about it but its been at least 3 years noe Ive owned it. I am dissapointed as i thought it was a supier product. Is it covered by warranty I'm not sure.
Such great value. Best price around. Unfortunately we bought it for an engagement present so couldn't keep it for myself! But they loved it & now I want one too!!
This is the best purchase I have ever made! The meat is always so tender and the beauty of being able to cook in one pot on the stove straight to the oven is magnificent - less dishes. The quality is superb and this is the best price I have seen this product at.
We often have people over and I have never before had a pot large enough to cook lamb shanks for 6 people. I did this on Saturday night and it was sensational. I think everyone should have a Le Chasseur french oven in their kitchen
