Basic Oven at a Good Price

Needed to replace our old Chef Oven, it gave good service for a basic oven, 9 years old, had to replace the fan/heater element 3 times and now decided to just get a new one as the service/parts option was getting expensive. Competitive pricing, speedy delivery and they took away the old one, (for a fee). Took a while for the new smell to go. Works well.

Damaged on delivery

Bought this oven because it didn't require professional installation and because it was assembled in Australia. However, out of the box it only has a very, very short cord (about 1.3 metres)so off to buy tradesman level extension cord (so add that to your cost for this oven if you don't have a plug that close). Secondly, the minute we turned it on it, it shut off the safety switch. They sent a technician round, the back panel had been damaged at the warehouse and needed to be replaced. So now we are two weeks after buying our new oven and still waiting for a new one with no working oven in the house. Good Basic Oven

Purchased to replace the previous Chef oven which had lasted in our beach house for 15 years.This one is super simple to use. 3 settings of Grill/Defrost/Oven.Basic oven without the 10,000 options and you don't need an encyclopaedia to use.Recommend if you don't want to pay a fortune and have basic oven requirements. Quality is good and easy to fit.

Mostly happy

I bought this oven to replace same size Chef oven that was 20 odd years old. Happy with how the oven performs. Only issue is that it is very difficult to choose correct temperature because of the design and colour of the dial. Could easily be improved. I added a black line with a marker. Instead of being smooth dial should have a pointer.

Oven Good / Delivery Sucked!

The oven has worked perfectly since it was delivered at 345pm! So the electrician I booked for Monday morning had to wait around! If you can't deliver till arvo TELL ME! So I don't f... up an electricians day like you f... up mine! There is a reason I didn't leave a review. But you wouldn't leave me alone so here it is!!

Review of oven

Am a bit disappointed. Not the fault of appliances online, but I hadn't noticed the oven didn't come with a clock, and I think that's essential for all ovens. Also, I didn't know it was not fan forced. In my opinion, another essential for all of today's ovens. Also, the cutting away of part of the built-in did not make for a really tight fit and air escapes when oven in use - something I was unaware of at the time of installation. I do, however, concede I was impressed with the workers at the time of installation. It is, however, better than the previous oven. The time "alert" should last for longer than it does and should go off at least a 2nd time after about 5 minutes or so.

Simple and effective wall oven with easy installation

I have a Chef oven with seperate grill. I did not want to repair the oven when it failed. I bought this oven to install in the same place. It took some carpentry work since the slot for the old oven was wide and long. Installation was easy, just plug into any 10am power point and start using it. My wife loves the oven. No bell and whistles, just turn the knob to desired setting and it goes. Only two knobs, one for timer and the other is oven control. Worth the money.

Simple operation five star results

Delighted with this oven. Simple to operate. Two dials. What more do you need First use was to cook a lamb roast. Couldnt have been happier with the result. Great value for money. Beats those imported varieties.

look no further/australian made

my dream was to have a stainless steel oven, but does not suite when you have a drooling dog. so i decided enough was enough i had to go back to white. i looked at chef, the first thing i noticed "made in australia" i was sold. for me i am no chef, but the features are enough to prepare family meals with ease. i love the style and the simple functions. it a great oven i would buy it over again with hesitation.
