We love our new stovetop and it functions well. However….. we purchased the white enamel version and it arrived with chips in the enamel. Chef replaced it right away which we were happy about, although the replacement is starting to get tiny chips as well. They are hidden by the trivets. The old Chef we had was white enamel too and lasted about 20 years with no chipping. I wonder what they’re doing differently.
Pleasantly surprised as this unit is much better than I expected for a budget price.Easy to install as there was no electrician required due to the battery ignitor. Also, the gas flame detection works very well. No fear of unburnt gas accumulating. I only took one star off for build quality as one of the control knobs had a scratch in it, otherwise everything was perfect.
I renovated my kitchen a month ago snd wanted a stylish looking cooktop that would be easy to keep clean without having to buy special cleaning products. I love my cooktop. The knobs are in a good position and are easy to wipe over. I am very happy with my purchase.
Love the simplicity of design and the ease of cleaning but the auto ignition is problematic and is difficult to light
