Chef'n - PepperBall Pepper Grinder

This is an excellent product. Also bought the rock salt one. The rotating base for different coarseness of pepper and rock salt is great. Never disappointed with my purchases from Peters of Kensington.

I bought one of these Chef'N Pepperballs many many years ago when they first came on the market and I loved it dearly as it did not let me down and recommended the Pepperball to Friends and Family, even giving the Pepperball as Gifts. Though unfortunately it had been misplaced somewhere along the way over the years, so I was delighted to see the new improved model - Easy to use, even easier to adjust the coarseness and to refill! I don't know how I managed for all those years without ithe Chef'N Pepperball and I even invested in the Saltball too ....

Best pepper grinder.

Easy to use. Works properly every time.Had a few failed grinders at a similar price, leading me to do some research. Came up with this little beauty.Matching salt grinder is good too.

Disappointed long time fan

Over the last 12 years I’ve purchased 6 sets of the ( original) Rabbit ear pepper and salt grinders For me and my family and have been a huge fan.In the last 3 years I’ve purchased 3 sets of the Re designed Ball salt and pepper grinders to have all 3 sets brake at the handle that moves the grinders. I’ve lost my faith in your the grinders Ball And paying $19 To $28Per unit doesn’t make me real happy either.Have customer service or one of your design people give me a text.

Expensive, not durable

Our squeeze trigger tall Chef’N pepper mill broke after twenty years of use. We bought this, thinking it would be as good quality and design as the original. After only three years, the part where the squeeze trigger fits into the ball container broke; due to the stress of being squeezed. I think it’s a failure of both design and quality of the clear plastic of the ball container.We are not buying another one of these but will be on the lookout for another squeeze pepper mill. (We don’t like the two-handed twist mills.)

Gone Hungry - Dinner ruined

I was so excited to finally this (purchased online). Unfortunately my delight turned to dismay when during its first use the bottom fell off and disgorged the peppercorns into my casserole. Examination of the item showed that the glue had failed. Dinner ruined as impossible to remove peppercorns.

Good product, easy ordering, shipping.

The pepper ball replaced my old one where the handle broke. I had it for about 2 years, maybe more. That one replaced my original one, which was the original design and had a difficult way to pour the pepper balls in. This new design is much better (the handle screws off instead of having to slide a piece of plastic to open a small window into the chamber). Additionally, the product I just ordered is better than its replacement in that it supplies more crushed pepper than the last one with each handle squeeze (this was a complaint of many people).

Pretty good

I like this pepper grinder because of the one-handed use and the the fact that you successfully grind pepper. It is an improved design so that you now fill it through the top after unscrewing it, rather than through a split in the side which was very weakening to the structure. The top has to be screwed tight on, otherwise the grinding fails. The adjustment to coarseness is very easy. The grinder still doesn't feel very strong. Time will tell. It looks really good. By the way the Himalayan salt grinder that Lidl sells is excellent so no need for a salt grinder.

The pepper inside the mill was 4 months past it's best before date

I bought this as I was born missing my left hand and thought it would be easy to use. The first time I squeezed the two levers together it felt quite flimsy and I heard a sound like I had cracked the plastic, but then tightened up the top part by twisting it and now it seems to be working okay.The sticker on the product indicated that the pepper inside the mill had a best before date of December 2019, and it arrived in April 2020. Two stars for that, and the fact it cracked on day one.

Too flimsy. Not worth the price.

I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to using it after seeing it at my friends a few years ago - they had the larger version. These mini ones dont grind too well and feel flimsy. Wish I had researched more for the bigger sets before paying a lot of money for these mini versions. The seller was great. Its the actual product that Im not very happy with.
