Disappointing product with so many better options available.Pros:- Smells nice. (1 star)- Provides lubrication for contact cleaning. (Another star)- pH neutral if that is what you really want. (meh)Cons:- It is too viscous to spray from the trigger nozzle, instead coming out as a stream which wastes a great deal of product. Chemical guys provide no instructions to dilute or keep at 1:1 on the bottle or their own website, and after testing both there is no performance changes.- There is no active 'dirt lifting' as they claim, it does not do anything recognisable. The product does not show any signs of reactivity to brake dust or other metals. This product was recommended (second-hand) by the salesperson based on what a friend had told him. I decided to give it a try. The product worked extremely well. The horrible excess brake dust was removed with minimal effort. Now my tires and rims look brand new, and the brake dust has not returned, even several days later. I highly recommend this product. It works!

I should have read the reviews. This is a disappointing product. When you spray the liquid it comes out of the spray nozzle as a Solid Stream. As it is a liquid it just runs down the wheel immediately onto the floor. It does not cling to the wheel at all. I tried replacing the nozzle with a different one to try and get a mist spray however this did not work. Unfortunately, this product is too difficult to apply and not worth the effort. I will be throwing this away. I switched back to an old Wheel Cleaner I had.

I purchased 6 different wheel cleaners the day i bought this to try them out. This product is absolute junk in every way. It was too thick to come out of the spray bottle. I really wanted to give it a chance so i tried 2 other trigger sprays, and a pressure pack garden sprayer and still it wouldn't spray out in anything other than a solid stream. Without being able to get coverage over the wheel, its a useless product. It also didnt appear to clean very well even on the areas i could get it on to. I used half of this bottle just to try and get coverage on one rim. I had high hopes for this product but this experience has probably left me not wanting to try the rest if their range.
Don’t buy, here’s why. I have black rims that are very detailed and deep. I used the product per the instructions. First, the spray bottle only streams! So you have to apply a massive amount of the product for good coverage. I even switched to a Zep bottle with only little affect. So the product itself will not airate. Then after letting it sit for a few minutes and then trying to scrub the rims, minimal disc dust came off. I spent two hours and very marginal results. Probably could have used dawn instead.
Try as I might, I could not get the liquid to be dispensed via the spray bottle in which it came. Even after diluting it considerably, I was left with 🥏🥏's. EventuaIly I put it in An old near empty Simple Green spray bottle and - diluted - it was capable of spraying in a line, but could not get it to foam spray or mist correctly. As a cleaner it is fine, it smells good which is a more notable attribute than the ability to clean dirt and grime When compared to similar products. It was neither expensive nor cheap but that's really kind of secondary to the fact that I couldn't use it without commendearing a different bottle and even then, It was only able to spray in a fairly straight line applying that to a wheel without spread uses a lot of extra -- and is ... I'm sure it's that thick to make it foam when it's sprayed, But I don't know how it left the factory without people Realizing that it doesn't come out and that that defeats the point entirely. It's incredible in fact. It's almost impressive, that this was still signed off on and left the building headed to the consumer market with their name on it. I would probably start looking at my family that I have working for me and wonder who there is waiting for our stock to drop so they can scoop it Up on the cheap because there's no way that a considerate member of ownership Could have approved this product, much less sent it out without ulterior motives.
I purchased Diablo Wheel Cleaner due to the advice of the O'Reilly staff. They said this would work great for removing brake dust AND cleaning the tires. First of all, the product shoots out in a single stream and doesn't mist so it's hard to cover all parts of the wheel and tires. After following directions and applying several times, (using wheel brushes and towels) I went back to the store and bought the Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel and it worked 100x better! I asked O'Reilly for a refund and they sent me to Chemical Guys. I reached out to Chemical Guys several times and they made no offer to make it right. No product replacement or refund. Just overall, a bad product and a company that doesn't stand by their customers. My days of buying Chemical Guys is over and ... Chemical Guys Wheel Cleaner is a game-changer! I've tried numerous products, but none have matched the effectiveness of this one. It effortlessly removes brake dust and grime, leaving my wheels sparkling clean with minimal effort. Plus, it's safe for all wheel types, including alloy, chrome, and painted surfaces. The cherry on top? Its pleasant scent makes the cleaning process enjoyable. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for professional-grade results.
So reading reviews I thought this would be great. I got it in the chemical guys bucket with other products. For starters it doesn’t spray even on the spray setting. I had to use a sponge and run it around and still some dirt didn’t come off. Then when I came home I looked at my rims and they were completely etched…no more shine they looked so bad. I didn’t see any other reviews like this but thought i’d share my experience.
I bought this product because I like their microfiber towels. First, the cleaner does not come out in a spray but rather a stream. I tried changing the nozzle with another one from a different vendor and it still came out in a stream. I then took the "Diablo" spray head and attached it to another bottle filled with water and the spray and stream worked well.Second, after following the instructions, I sprayed the wheels as directed, I waited, and waited, then rinsed off the bubble gum smelling goop and the wheel was still dirty. I had to clean the wheels with a microfiber towel using my car wash soap.I am highly disappointed with this product.Buyer, do your homework before spending money on the Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Cleaner.
