Chloe Naturelle Eau De Parfum Spray 50ml

I received this perfume to review. It is an interesting, very different scent. Smells like roses and wood. It goes a bit more to the wooden side for me, and I’m not sure yet if I like it. I do get a lot of compliments whenever I wear this. To me, I would have loved it more if I could smell more of the roses on me. Would I buy it when it’s empty? Probably not. But it is a nice scent to change up the more flowery/fresh scents that I usually go for. I would recommend going to a store and spraying it on your own skin before buying this, just to see what it will smell like on you.

Floral but Still Light and Refreshing

I received this product for free from Influenster and Chloé in exchange for my honest review.This perfume really surprised me and I grew to love it. The scent is heavy on the floral notes, which normally isn’t my favorite, but as it wears, you can smell more of the fruity and woody notes. It really develops as it wears so don’t judge it right away. The scent is very light and refreshing despite the heavy floral notes. The scent makes me feel like I’m out in nature – in a field of wildflowers. It immediately lifts my spirits and is calming. I usually avoid rose in my perfumes but I think it works in this product. I highly suggest testing the product to see if it lasts with your skin chemistry before buying the full size.I really appreciate that the rose is ethically sourced. So many brands are prioritizing responsibly sourced ingredients and I’m really glad to see that change.In summary, I highly recommend this scent despite it being heavily floral, but test it first to make sure it is long lasting on you.Great job with this one, Chloé!

I've searched a lifetime for you

This is seriously a fragrance I've been looking for my whole life. Not "THE" fragrance, because I have many different scents that I wear for different moods and occasions. But there's this very specific clean and lightly musky sweet fresh smell that I can't describe that I love. The best I could do is imagine yourself as a young woman with freshly shampooed hair, running outdoors on a beautiful day and breaking into a fresh, clean sweat. It could be the natural extracts in this scent just hit me differently than anything I ever smelled before. I can't stand synthetic florals and all the fruity floral scents that are a dime a dozen; even the other chloe scents kind of fall into that category for me. This is something entirely different. It is special. It is one of a kind. It's nothing I've ever seen anywhere else on the market: true luxury fragrance from a distinguished French fashion house, created by an amazing "nose," utilizing only natural ingredients. It's something I've sought forever, but it hasn't existed until now. It's truly remarkable, and I've had every fragrance in the book--I used to live in NYC and visit all the little niche fragrance shops, as well as the high end places like Bergdorf's. This blows everything else in its genre out of the water. It's not my one and only scent--I've got my Tom Ford, my Skin Musk, my Gucci Rush, my vintage Versace woman, my vintage Dolce & Gabbana red... this is a class all its own.

Love this natural origin scent

I love that this is a natural origin scent which is rare among designer fragrances. This is fresh lively, slightly floral, slightly fruity. YSL made a fragrance called Baby Doll with hints of grapefruit and rose which I wore when I was young. This Chloe fragrance has slight similarities but is more sophisticated and not as harsh on the top notes. Chloe Naturelle has good staying power for a natural fragrance. Great work Chloe! The only thing is their promotion of this fragrance is lacking. I’m totally into natural perfumes and even follow Chloe on social, I had no idea about this being a natural origin fragrance until a Nordstrom associate pointed it out!

Pleasantly surprised

I tried the other scents by Chloe and they were just mediocre. Didn’t really stand out or anything to me. But THIS. The rose is spot on. I bought the travel and I’m already looking for the full size bottle. the lasting power is great, though that changes for everyone depending on your pH. Light, floral, and fresh but with class. This isn’t the type of fresh that you get from a green or herby perfume but the kind of fresh you get from a fresh cut bouquet of roses. I had been looking for a good rose scent and this one is it. Great for any season but during the colder season I’ve been layering it with Replicas Jazz Club and i don’t stop getting compliments. Smells like a complexity of synthetic materials..

Note: I received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review. That being said, I’m one to find the beauty in most fragrances I smell. This one is different. It starts off with a rose essence (I usually love rose) with the scent of the uninvited lingering alcohol destroying the experience. This transitions onto what seems like freshness by what I think they attempted to create through a lemon balm-type scent but is presented poorly to the senses as nothing but freshly packaged plastic. Yes—I said plastic. Don’t worry though, it gets a little better. The complete dry down is a synthetic yet subtle and fortunately short lived scent of fresh laundry. It’s merely tolerable. Chloe missed it this time. I do not recommend this perfume.

Soft, light and fresh

Notes:The rose is subtle in this compared to Roses de Chloé. I do not detect the ‘woody’ scent of cedrat, which is unfortunate because I prefer earthy scents. The lemony, citrus notes stand out most for me.Longevity:Perfumes generally do not last on my skin more than an hour or two. I can detect it on my wrists at this point, but it is very, very subtle. The fact that there is a remnant of scent with this one at that point is a plus, so I would consider it to have light-medium staying power.Overall Impressions:This is a lightweight fragrance that feels youthful without delving into sugary-sweet territory. It is soft without becoming powdery. There is an herbal quality to it, a ‘freshness,’ that seems even more feminine than Roses de Chloé.

Sophisticated bright, balanced floral

Wow, I really am impressed! Chloe to me has always been sophisticated without being too mature: I like to fall in middle ground, not too floral, not too sweet, not too masculine, and this is perfect. Non powerdy rose floral with a bit of brightness and subtle earthy depth. I have been wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy for years, and Naturelle seems a progression from teenage years to adulthood, without being again too mature. Soft and delicate. No chemical smell that often comes with similarly priced design houses. I will wear this until fall, when I pick up Bois de Balincort!

The best of the Chloe line!

I was pleasantly surprised at this fragrance. Sometimes I like to pair cocktails with fragrance. For this version of Chloe, I decided on a sparkling rose to capture the delicate rose notes, and I definitely find a bright effervescence to this fragrance. I added a splash of St. Germain and a sage leaf to capture a bit of fruitiness and light herbal notes that I detect. As for the fragrance, it’s not a heavy rose, but more of a bright, fresh, green rosy mimosa. It has very good longevity for a lighter fragrance. For reference, I can’t stand the regular Chloe or Roses de Chloe, since they have a strong, sharp, unpleasant smell to my nose, but this version does not have that sharp smell.
