I bought this bag a couple of weeks ago after yearning for it for years. I loved all the colors that this bag comes in and so the choice of color was pretty difficult but finally decided on Cashmere Grey for its versatility. It is a great quality bag and big enough for everyday. The leather is so soft and smooth and the craftsmanship and hardware is exquisite. It is well worth the price, especially when you get a huge reward in points for it. Love my new bag.

I purchased the Chloe Marcie Satchel online and was very excited to receive it! When I received it, it was shipped in a very small box that barely fit the purse. The purse was placed in a plastic bag , with no duster, and no tags attached. The shoulder strap was missing and the the purse looked like it was used and the leather was very worn down. There was no shape to the purse. It was very disappointing for a purse that costs almost $2,100! I'm surprised that Bloomingdales would sell such an item at full price and expect the customer to be satisfied. Very disappointing ! I've purchased many items online and never had such a disappointing purchase! I returned the purse.

I wear this bag every day since I purchased it weeks ago. The leather is amazing quality, I love the linen lining, long strap, tan color is gorgeous and goes with everything. Roomy, perfect on shoulder or worn crossbody. I had this bag first in 2011, sadly sold it, but quality still as amazing as 10 years ago. This bag will last. Only thing, it is much more structured than my original 2011 marcie which was a soft puddle. I do believe with use this bag will soften and just age so well! I honestly love carrying this bag and it will be my most loved for years to come! I am 5’3” and 135 lbs and this bag is big but doesn’t look out of proportion on me.

A few yrs ago I didn’t really like Chloe Marcie. About 2 yrs I bought one at another store and realized how wrong I was. It is light, comfortable and very practical. It is also spacious. The flap is great cause I can put my phone in the pocket and not worry it is going fall out. It is also very convenient. I have taken advantage of Bloomy’s promos and sales, so I have more than 1 . The leather is amazing … very durable.
Love the look and color of the bag. Purchased my first one and had to return it because of what looks to be a slice in the shoulder strap. Re-ordered and received 2nd one and same issue. I would expect a bag of this price would not have quality issues. Not the first time I have had issues with the quality.

The biggest issue is the darn zipper. The "tail" end of the upper hangs out of the bag. To close the bag you must grasp the tail end and pull it straight out, then operate the zipper with your other hand. It hurts your fingers, and it is a pain in the neck when you are out and about, The zipper is none too smooth to pull up. If you want to tuck the tail inside the bag so much the worse for you.You cannot see this kind of thing online...The lining is not very nice, either.I also must call B'dales out for shipping this $2100 item in a plastic ... I’ve been searching for an everyday black bag. Something elevated, not fancy, understated, classy.. The reviews are what sold me even though I was never truly in love with the bag but on paper was exactly what I wanted. It arrived in a beat up cardboard box- no dust bag and just knocking around in there. So that really diminished the first impression. But its honestly nothing special. Maybe I’m missing something here, but it reminds me too much of the cheap 90s brand HOBO and it’s just too similar. Hardware is cheap and ugly. Handle will unravel and crossbody will stretch out. And yet I still can’t decide if I’ll keep it or get the Balenciaga one that’s new. Any suggestions on an everyday black bag please let me know this one is not doing it for me
