Cholula Hot Sauce Original 150ml

I really enjoy Cholula’s products like their original hot sauce and chili lime flavor. I love chipotle so thought I would try this one out and was not disappointed! It has the amazing flavor your get from chipotle but without the typical spice. While this sauce is still spicy, you can still enjoy the flavor. My household usually gets La Costeña’s Chipotle Salsa or Chipotle Peppers in Sauce but the spice could get overwhelming in those. Cholula really got the flavor down. I would put it on anything.

There are so many hot sauces on the market. This has remained a tried and true and remains in my pantry because it is consistent, readily available, and taste good. The bottle is so stinking cute! I love the little wooden screw top and the logo is cute. You can get this in mini, medium, and large size for gift giving and/or sharing. I like the little hole so that you get a decent serving and at the same time not having to shake too hard if you want a lot. This taste great on eggs served at room temperature sauce. Added to other sauces for grilling. On its own on crackers. Dash for a kick up for soup or chili.

This is my all time favorite hot sauce. It has the perfect balance of spice and flavor. I can handle pretty hot, but for me when things are too spicy it over-rides the flavor. But Cholula original is the perfect combination of spice, salt, sour, and flavor. Love it on my tofu scramble! Five stars!

So my favorite thing to put cholula on it breakfast potatoes, especially sweet potatoes or yams. The sweet spicy combination is to die for (if that's your thing). Cholula is pretty dang cheap it's great on burritos, tacos, enchiladas, all the things. The chili garlic is definitely spicier than the original, but it also has more flavor.

Actually has flavor... not just "hot"

First time ordering groceries from local WM store to be delivered, and free as a WM member. Very nice, and quick! Needed more hot sauce and the very positive reviews for this brand caught my attention so thought I'd give it a try. The reviews were dead-on... love this sauce! Definitely a bit more "tangy" than other hot sauces, and not too hot. Other hot sauces tend to have little flavor and only add the "hot", but this one is different. Highly recommend.

Good value but not a great chilli sauce

Personally this was a bit "no mans land" for me. Its not super hot like tabasco where you want a few drops on some poached eggs etc, but neither does it have a complex or sophisticated taste that makes it an interesting flavour in itself, its a kind of no mans land of "watered down tabasco" without the benefit of much real flavour. It is good value but besides that I think there are better options.

Great taste Great Price

Chula is my favorite hot sauce. It is warm to hot tasting not burn your mouth misery or burn day later on exiting. It has a taste that isn't vinegar or oil but of peppers unlike others.This package is a great deal . By having two bottles I have one for home and took one to leave where I eat breakfast a couple times a week because Chula is a must for eggs .

High Price everywhere, but worth it.

This does tend to settle in the bottle over time, so I always make sure to shake it... otherwise the sauce will be mostly a watery vinegar flavor. After that, the vinegar flavor is hardly noticeable.The Chipotle smokiness comes through easily on top of a sweet medium heat that's not too hot to hide the flavor.One reviewer wrote about it tasting more like Cool Whip; I don't know what that's about. If Cool Whip tasted like this, I'd think my taste buds were going rogue. I hate Cool Whip and this sauce has no Cool Whip flavor or texture.A 5 ounce bottle doesn't go far, but that's not always a bad thing. I'm not a restaurant and the smaller size won't stay on my shelf for too long. Very yummy

Love this stuff! I love the Cholula hot sauces. Normally I like the original flavor best, but chipotle is also very good. The chipotle sauce has a smoky flavor like bbq, but more spicy and less tangy than that. Plus it’s a lower price than the original, so I wanted to buy that one. Very delicious!
