Christophe Robin Delicate Volumising Shampoo With Rose Extracts 500ml

is one of the most beautiful shampoos that I've ever used- the natural rose smell is subtle but so uplifting; this shampoo lathers so nicely, cleans thoroughly but gently, leaves hair feeling nourished reinforced and has definitely adds body dimension to my hair as well. It's $39 but once you open the bottle begin to use its 💯 clear that the brand did not cut any corners ingredient-wise in terms of quality. Also, a bottle lasts a lot longer than many other shampoos I've used of this size because you don't need much at all to get a good lather going. Also works great with the volumizing spray!

Drying, creates knots

I got this and the matching conditioner as a sample, and I wish I hadn't. I'm not fond of rose scents, but I would try anything if it made my super-baby-fine dyed platinum blonde hair have more volume. The shampoo started with a nice lather, but quickly made my hair seize up into a hardened ball that felt like a Brillo pad. I immediately rinsed out the shampoo and applied the conditioner, trying to gently work it into the lump of hair. I ended up spending quite a bit of time attempting to coax my hair out of the tangle, carefully finger combing the conditioner through, but it definitely didn't help much. I can normally go straight to drying my hair, but I needed to dig out a wide toothed comb to rake through my hair before even attempting to style it. Finally No Limp Hair

I was unsure about this product mainly due to the price and will it make a difference. I am pleased to say worth every penny. I started off by buying only the shampoo and after two washes decided to buy the bundle for fine hair. The shampoo works so well I have found I need the conditioner, I also love the leave in spray. I have stayed away from styling products as these seem to make my hair worse. I wash my hair twice a week, I love it. I would also suggest going on YouTube and watching the video on how to wash your hair. It's very good and sounds silly but I learnt how to wash my hair properly which is more in line with how the salons wash your hair. I think we can get a bit lazy about it in the shower.

Hmm something changed

I have this new packaged shampoo and a bottle of the original and I feel something is off about the scent. I love rose scent and the older one I have smells fresher. I read that Christophe Robin sold his company so perhaps that prompted a change in ingredients? I would not repurchase.

I have been using CR products for about 5 years and was so glad to see that QVC have started to sell these products (can we have a TSV please?!). I was a bit unsure when I first used the volume conditioner as it didn't seem to make much difference and my hair felt a bit weighed down. However, I believe the trick to using this conditioner (and all CR conditioners/masks) is to really emulsify the products before rinsing them out. Really get a good creamy consistency in your hair and you can feel it getting thicker and more plumped up (I always avoid my roots and scalp though). As a professional hairstylist of 16 years, I decided to give this product line a try. I must say, after the first wash; my hair was impressively soft, shiny but yet still had volume. Throughout my trials over the years of countless amounts of products, I have found that most volumizing shampoo really strips the hair and leaves it feeling dull and dry, especially on blondes like myself. Not a volumizing shampoo

The company that makes this product claims that this is a volumizing gentle shampoo for fine hair. I know that everyone has different expectations and hair types, however, I will say that this is anything but volumizing in my opinion. Quite the contrary. It does have a gentle lather and it does smell incredible but it left my fine hair flat! Im sorry I spent the money on this product. Im hoping I can get through the bottle without chucking it. I had much better results with Davines Volu shampoo. That I would recommend.

(There’s a bit of a learning curve but it smells heavenly and gives me REAL volume) So when I used this, I expected similar results but with a traditional shampoo formula. First time I shampooed I noticed no difference in volume. Then I read the directions and saw the recommendation to leave the shampoo in for a few minutes before rinsing (which is what I have to do with the paste as well and with that product it definitely helps). Rose Shampoo

I adore this shampoo. This is my 2nd bottle. Leaves my course hair silky soft and nicely scented. My hairdresser even commented on how soft my hair was. It is a gentle scent, not overpowering. I always buy it in when on sale. Use it for a couple of weeks and see the difference. A little goes a long way. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Rose scented soft hair

Wasn't sure at first, but now I adore this shampoo. Lovely rose scent, that is not overpowering and leaves your hair beautifully soft. I am normally thick course hair that is difficult to manage. But having persevered with this shampoo, my hair is now noticeably softer and a lot easier to manage. Even my hairdresser asked me what I was using, having noticed a difference in the softness of my hair. A little goes a long way. Always buy it when it is on reduced offer.I am now on my 2nd bottle. Just love it!
