I have border collies which are know for having pretty soft mouths. The balls lasted about five minutes with them before we had to take them away. Great balls, I have the bigger version and its great to help out breathing. My collie will obsess and do a lot of running with it. I feel like its helped her get better air flow from my experience. Not recommended for any dogs 35 lbs and up.

Oliver loved his new ball and promptly lost it in the house or backyard. I hope he finds it soon! It could've been bigger for this medium sized dog, but he loves it just the same. It seemed like he could just breathe normally with it in his mouth and im sure that was a big hit with him. It's easily squished and could be a little stronger but it's easy to replace if he decides to chew it up. We find that the Chuckit! Balls last him longer than other balls do. And Oliver is a BIG chewer! He's destroyed many toys in 3 years, so if it lasts a day, week, or month, we're doing good! He has split some of his Chuckit! Balls, yet they remain intact enough to still look like a ball and play like a ball. The main thing is that Oliver is happy!
Nico is my 7 month old puppy-toy fox terrier. Nico is a bundle of energy and absolutely loves these balls! Ive had to buy them 3 different times as they mysteriously disappear! They keep him busy for hours and seem indestructible-which helps with his chewing obsession!!
Our puppy is obsessed with tennis balls, but is also obsessed with eating the fuzz off of them. Sometimes, a new ball doesn't even last a day in our house, and leaves quite the mess. Another family at the dog park had one of these and our pup seemed to like it so we bought one ourselves. We don't let him have free access to it all the time because we're worried he would gnaw through it, but he gets it as a treat during play time and when we're outside playing fetch. Although he has almost chewed through one of the sides, it has lasted longer than I thought it might. He doesn't seem to love it as much as the fuzzy tennis balls, but he still enjoys it nonetheless. We will definitely be purchasing more.

This was a lot smaller than I expected it to be (smaller than a tennis ball) but my dog loves it. It's a fun texture to chew and squish (very flexible), and is slippery enough when my drooly dog plays with it that it pops out of her mouth every so often, increasing the entertainment value. I've also been able to wedge bigger treats inside to occupy my dog for longer.
Pros:-Much lighter: Much less likely to damage teeth when caught directly (wish I would have found this earlier, I'm sure it would have prevented some tooth damage from impact of regular balls with the delicate bottom from teeth-- teeth did not get knocked out by previous balls, but the roots died on a couple and I believe it's from overenthusiastic fetch playing and direct impact from ball during direct catches in the dog's mouth-- just imagine catching the normal heavy rubber chuck-it balls it in your teeth!)-Breathable: Allows dog to breathe much more easily through the ball, rather than just around it. I never would have thought this was a problem, but now that I'm aware of the benefit, I'd never go back. Our dog likes this ball - it is light enough for her to comfortably catch and the texture is right for her (not too hard or soft). Its bounce is just right for us and the breathability for us is a bonus. We have been using one for a while now and it is lasting, but our dog does not attempt to chew it apart.
