Love the folding Chuckit, it goes in my zippered coat pocket with part of the handle sticking out until Oliver and I walk to where I can throw the ball. Now about the ball! It’s a hollow ball that whistles when you throw it, and best of all, when he bites it, it doesn’t break!

This is literally the first toy we have ever gotten that Our pitbully cant destroy! We have literally been plAying fetch with this every single day. Its super easy to use, and light. Not heavy at all! Literally anyone can play with this with their dog. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Our dog destroys everything he touches, but hasnt been able to destroy this ball, and he has been plAying every day for 2 weeks already! I am so happy with this brand, and will definitely be a future customer!

Easy to hold, very durable. Works like a trebucht with a hinge halfway up the shaft that locks when thrown. The lock prevents the hinge from flying forward and hitting the forearm. Comes with a nice rubber ball that fits into the holding cup. The Chuckit! launcher makes throwing a retrieving ball a lot easier and will save stress on your arm and shoulder. It also unfolds to a 25 inch full sized launcher. Also has an elastic cord at the end of the handle for hanging. Definitely a fun toy for dogs that like to fetch.

My dog and I are very happy about this purchase!!! I even fly started taking my dog to play fetch, but apparently I’m not good at throwing the ball. It wouldn’t even go very far and the next day my arm felt really sore. It was a major fail. I finally decided to get a chuckit and I’m so glad I did. This thing is definitely life changing for me and my dog. I’m glad I got the longer one because it allows me to grab the ball without reaching down. I’ve bought the rubber chuckit balls and I do like those with the a lot. The ball that is included works well too, but I like the rubber ones better. If anything happens to my chuckit launcher I’ll definitely buy another one ASAP.
I have dozens of Chuckit toys for my dog and though a foldable ball thrower would be a good upgrade to my collection to replace the standard, non branded thrower I had. Boy was I wrong. This thing is way too straight and doesn't propel the ball nearly as far as the nonbranded version, plus it launches straight at the ground. My dog likes to both run far, fast, and jump to catch mid air. That is impossible with this. The handle is not ergonomic and hurts the palm of my hand with the force needed to throw (thr old one was effortless and painless). I though the little elastic at the end to keep it folded isn't going to last long at all, as anyone whose ever used a ponytail elastic would know. This foldable thrower is great, it’s much easier to transport than a non-foldable one and it throws just as well. It also has a bungee loop to keep it folded. The rubber ball that came with it has a slight whistle that’s perfect for an attentive dog to track it as it flies. Any issues throwing with this are from user-error or using the wrong ball.
The folding thrower works well and feels sturdy. Being able to fold and pop into a backpack is great. Our dog always goes crazy when he sees it so being able to get to the park and then get it out when we are ready is so much better.The ballet that comes with the thrower.... My dog hates the texture he will chase happily, pick it up and then drop it. We have other balls he loves by chuckit but not this one
I would recommend this ball thrower for two big reasons. First, it is very handy to be able to fold it and stick it in your pocket while out on a walk. Secondly, it comes with a proper Chuckit ball. These are so durable compared to the tennis balls that the other throwers come with and as they are quite expensive to buy separately, I think this makes it good value.
Works great! I wasn't sure if the handle lock would work well but it does. Works with al my other Chuckit balls. The dogs love it and I love that I can now put it into a backpack so the dogs don't rip my arm off in their eagerness, pulling to get the field the way they did when they could see I had the old long handled one with me.
When we received this launcher, like any toy my dog was excited. It was no surprise that he enjoyed chasing and squeezing the ball; however, I found myself enjoying it a lot simply because I don’t have to deal with all that dog drool. I expected to fight picking the ball up but the launcher picks that ball up with out fighting it. You can also launch the ball quite far with some effort. It definitely eliminates the pain you would get on your shoulder tossing it yourself. The construction of the launcher and the ball are quite durable so it should last a long time. I have a 2 year old German shepherd and he destroys tennis balls. So far this ball is holding itself. Overall this is a great product.
