First time to receive a poorly wrapped package from SNR. SNR did not tape Cif and also did not cover the box. Cif leaked and hopefully did not damage the food. Box also not secured well. Box tore due to leak from inside (Cif) and rain. Please secure your box properly. Surprising and highly disappointed since SNR used to be good at packaging. I’ve ordered many times before.Scoring 5 stars to the courier because courier was honest and tried best to keep package intact.SNR please do better at packaging.

An cleaning essential

This is an essential cleaning product. Cleans everything from window frames to skirting boards and shower cubicles and sinks! Plus Im trying to move away from spray cleaners as I dont t like breathing in the product whilst Im cleaning. Cif seems very gentle on plastic but also tough on stains and grime with a pleasant scent that also rinses off easily without leaving a powdery film behind.

Cleans well, but concerns about ingredients for sensitive skin!

As a cleaning product it does what it’s meant to (it cleans, without scratching). You don’t need loads, but it does need to be rinsed off really well, else it leaves a chalky film behind.In terms of the ingredients - it says on the bottle that the gritty bits aren’t micro plastic (which is good) but it doesn’t say what it is, it says its a ‘naturally occurring mineral’. That’s great, but it’s still going to end up in the ocean, and it’s not clear whether that naturally occurring mineral is ocean friendly or not.I like that the ingredient list is short (less than 10!) but I was concerned that a lot of the ingredients contain phthalates (which is an endocrine disruptor) which is bad if you’re trying to get pregnant. Don’t use it on food products or anything you’d touch (like a bath, for example) if you’re trying.The other concern was one of the products is a biocide, which with long term use can cause skin irritation and dermatitis. So if you have sensitive skin, use gloves don’t use it on things you’d touch regularly. I’d say it would be good for tiles, that you’re not touching on a regular basis.Otherwise, if you're not trying to get pregnant and don't have sensitive skin, it's a winner!

Economical

Great in the bathroom. A bit of a confusion over brand name changes. Ajax is still Ajax as far as I am aware. Among its products is a cream cleaner and also a scouring powder. Lever Bros, who own Cif, also had a scouring powder, called Vim. Cif used to be called Jif but there was a name change to bring it into line with the global brand many years ago. I say used to be called, I still call it Jif!Whatever you call it - good stuff.
