Loved these headphones up until they broke. Only had them a few months. They broke in the exact spot pictured in the above review.Noticed a hairline fracture today which developed into a clean break within minutes.

Bought these a day ago and taking them back tomorrow to get my money back instead of chucking them because that’s how crap they are.Use to be ‘Tactix’ brand and we’re the best out of Bunnings whole range, it’s got an outside mic features that the others don’t, screen and radio that the others also don’t.I use to only buy these and nothing else as they were twice as loud and twice as durable as any of the other 3M ones Bunnings offers. Now they are ‘Citeco’ they’ve turned to sh*t, made out of cheaper and weaker plastic than the 3M which is a shock, the speakers quiet as all f**k now, even on full volume you can hear yourself speak over the top of the music, the outside mic use to pick up so much noise and would cut out any sharp/loud noises to protect you, now the ... MoreBought these a day ago and taking them back tomorrow to get my money back instead of chucking them because that’s how crap they are.Use to be ‘Tactix’ brand and we’re the best out of Bunnings whole range, it’s got an outside mic features that the others don’t, screen and radio that the others also don’t.I use to only buy these and nothing else as they were twice as loud and twice as durable as any of the other 3M ones Bunnings offers. Now they are ‘Citeco’ they’ve turned to sh*t, made out of cheaper and weaker plastic than the 3M which is a shock, the speakers quiet as all f**k now, even on full volume you can hear yourself speak over the top of the music, the outside mic use to pick up so much noise and would cut out any sharp/loud noises to protect you, now the outside mic is quieter than a mouse fart and doesn’t cut out any noise.Do not waste your time or money, these have become even worse than the 3M ones which is saying something.

(Bought under Tactix branding) If I could give zero stars I probably would. I initially liked the design of these because they incorporated everything into the band and earmuffs, with no outside aerial or cord. They were going well until, the same as others, I noticed a crack where the muff meets the band. I tried to glue it up to save them but I knew it wouldn't hold too much longer. On first use after glueing the earmuff broke off. And that was the end of that. Not even 6 months of owning and they are now landfill. Such a shame environmentally wise, I'm sharing so hopefully nobody buys these or the manufacturer rethinks the design. The saving grace was I didn't buy these with my own money, just gift cards. But now unfortunately I will have to buy different ones ... More(Bought under Tactix branding) If I could give zero stars I probably would. Don’t purchase!
20 February 2024

As has been said in other reviews, the headband is really weak and cracked within a month of purchase. Also, the ear pads are terrible, they have hardened and are very uncomfortable and essentially pointless now.

Good budget Bluetooth ear muffs
25 August 2024

I’ve had mine for about 12 months and I think for the price they aren’t all that bad. I wear them nearly every work day for 6-8 hours as I work alone, they’ve only just started to crack above the adjustable part, the sound quality isn’t perfect but you can’t expect it to be for how cheap they are

Got lucky I guess. Happy with purchase
29 July 2024

Purchased these 3-4 months ago at Dalby Bunnings. Very happy so far. Whether on the excavator, using a table saw or just listening to music they've been great so far...touch wood (considering every other review).

New brand name for old weak design
13 January 2024

These are just re-branded Tactix earmuffs.I honestly think they only changed brand names to dodge the bad reviews.Regardless of brand name this model has weak points where muff meets headband.I've previously liked their products 8 years loyal until this current model.Yours will break.Mine did, 3 times so far.I don't have an overly large head.

Plastic rubbish
24 March 2024

Same as the other reviews on here, had them for about 4 months and snapped going to put them on. The previous earmuffs were gold in the tactix brand/citeco. Not sure why they discontinued them

Potentially great product ruined by shortcuts in manufacturing.
1 May 2024

These were fantastic headphones at first but after a few months the foam cushioning around the ears just crushed down to nothing and they became unwearable. Such a waste of resources, all that electronics and battery just going to landfill because they saved 5 cents worth of foam in the manufacturing.

Weak Plastic material, stick with the classic earmuff design
29 July 2024

Brought this product in Bunnings Westgate for spare during Christmas season 2023, my earmuffs broke after 6 months same as the other reviewer with photo. The older version Tactix brand I bought from 2021 still working and other earmuffs red 3m with radio but no Bluetooth since 2014, the classic designs are more durable and will last longer with just the foam padding that will needing maintenance.
