Thanks to Influenster and Philips for sending me this product in exchange for my honest review. If you live in an area with old pipes or unclean water, I strongly recommend this machine. If you’re allergic to fluoride or dislike the taste, this will also remove it. It does exactly what it says it will and it does so quickly and mostly conveniently, and I do believe it does so better than the current range of purifiers installed into your house (zip tap, etc). If you hear the machine work, you can tell it’s more thorough than just physical filtration, and it has the UV light to ensure maximum purity. Some issues with it though: this is a very large machine. Like, it is enormous, heavy, and a space-hog. If you hear the machine work, you can tell it’s more thorough than just physical filtration, and it has the UV light to ensure maximum purity. Some issues with it though: this is a very large machine. Like, it is enormous, heavy, and a space-hog. It gets quite hot when it is working (which you only need twice a day for a household of three) and there are manual bits to it’s operation that are inconvenient. The tap water tank has a 6L capacity which is great when you have already refilled it throughout the day but the refilling process has literally given me arm muscles. Because the machine is literally almost 45-ish cm deep, that’s most of the counter capacity I have so I need to carry that 6kg thing across and over. The tap water container does have a handle but I have always hated working on my upper body strength. This product gives me no choice if I want to use it as is; I suppose I could also use a hose to fill it instead but I haven’t been bothered to buy one for inside use. There is an extra water jug you can put in the fridge and you do not need to clean the machine yourself. You do need to clean the tap water container so keep that in mind if you have a small sink. I have been using the bath tub to do so. The machine also has an led thing that indicates if you need to replace the filter. The RO filter cartridges are currently AUD$229 and google says you replace them approximately once a year. Given that bottled water is currently at least $2/L, you’re still saving in the long run. Would I have bought this for myself? If you feel like you want it, you probably need it. For me, probably not. I’m lucky in that my tap water is already pretty good and I have never minded the taste of it. We also own our property so if we wanted to make changes to the plumbing to install one to the house itself, it would have been fine. This machine is entirely self contained and does not require any approvals to install. If you have the counter space and arm muscles, it will do everything it says it does. I will probably be packing this away for now and then bringing it back out after we renovate the kitchen in q3, 2024, after making space for it.

I received this for free from Influenster for my honest review : If I could give this machine 10 stars I would I never knew I needed this until I started using it , it was easy to set up, included 2 1.8litre water jugs , 6 litre water tank, no plumbing needed, ambient / cold/warm/hot water at the touch of a button and a safety lock!!! It shows how many nasties in your actual water prior to it being filtered using reverse osmosis then shows what is in your actual glass ,cup , jug. I absolutely love that it tops up the jug whenever it senses the water is not up to the max line so you could always have a jug of ambient water available . The cold water is actual seperate compartment in the machine so you have the option to actually press what temperature of water you ... MoreI received this for free from Influenster for my honest review : If I could give this machine 10 stars I would I never knew I needed this until I started using it , it was easy to set up, included 2 1.8litre water jugs , 6 litre water tank, no plumbing needed, ambient / cold/warm/hot water at the touch of a button and a safety lock!!! A few things to be mindful of the Max line on the tap water tank is hard to see and I also found the water tank is heavy to put back in so be careful. I must also point out the machine will ask you to replace the water when it senses it is to low even though by our naked eye from the outside it looks like it is a decent amount of water left. All up I am sooo grateful to have been given this machine as I don’t think I could ever go without it now thank you Philips for such a smart amazing machine.

I was super excited to try this water filtering system, however I had errors right from the set-up process, which I had to reset and try multiple times. The machine seems to have trouble recognising when the water tank is full. After asking for it to be refilled, I have to wipe the base where the water tank goes before it is able to recognise the water is full. I can’t just pour more water into the tank or even remove the tank and put it straight on without wiping the base. During the setup, it requires you to empty the filtering jug when full. When I removed it after the beep, the water kept pooling on the machine without the jug present. It didn’t seem to recognise that the jug had been removed. It takes about 20 minutes for the cooling function to be activated, which means if you want cold water, you probably need that function on all the time. The hot water said it was at 100 degrees but the water didn’t feel boiling hot at all. In terms of filtration, I couldn’t tell if it did much for the quality of the water as I’m lucky to live in an area with good tap water. I’m not happy with the overall functioning of the machine, especially considering the high RRP of this product. I think the errors I experienced during set-up are concerning and I would not purchase this product.

I have received this product for free from influenster in exchange for my honest review I really wanted to test this product for a couple weeks before giving a fair review. 2 things I enjoyed most: The quality of the filter pump. Water really does taste different, cleaner, when you're consuming it. However, a spare pump is ineeded. They're nit built to last long. The product is easily the most versatile thing I've owned. The instant switch from hot to cold is amazing. Whilst making my coffee, I can immediately follow that with cold water and not have the temperature disrupted.
Great tasting water. Instant cooling and heating is very handy 👌
Have had this product for about 2 weeks now. The water from this Aquaporin Water Station is just next level. I used to think water was just water, but this thing proved me wrong. I'm never going back to tap water. The convenience of having both boiling and ice-cold water instantly available is a significant time-saver. A true essential for any household!
Works perfectly especially when you in need of a ice cold glass of filtered water or in need of a quick cup of tea... definitely the perfect Reverse osmosis with added minerals water solution... at least I can take it with me to my next rental... thanks Philips
