Clairol Blonde It Up Crystal Toners Sheer Amethyst

I genuinely love the color of my hair color after using Clairol toner. This toner took care of the brassy color I always get after coloring and matched my original natural hair color, before my silver took over that is. After using the toner I absolutely love it! Before coloring I had calico hair with silver hair on top of my head and the rest was dirty blonde. I was sceptical about it at first because idn think I'd have enough product to use on my long hair, which is my only complaint, that I only got 1 box to try, however it worked out and I love it! My hair color now is beautiful and I will always use this product after coloring my hair! Thanks for letting me try Clairol Blonde Toner, so where can I get more?

Firstly, it smelled like box dye, even though it is a toner. The smell lasted on my hair until the next wash and I like to leave at least a week between washes so I had to wait and suffer with the smell of cheap dye on my head. Even though I shampooed the product out, all you could smell was the toner product. The initial conditioning treatment made my hair feel smooth but it’s actually done more diamanté than good. It’s dried out my hair, parts of my hair looks absolutely awful on the ends after using the product. Definitely contains some harsh chemicals. I left it in my hair for 13 mins. It says recommended 10-20 mins, on the instructions. Secondly, the actual results were that my hair just looked the same but less healthy. Does what it is supposed to. Wasn't much different than using other products for brassy tones such as a purple shampoo, but it did help with them. I didn't notice any other results such as change of shades to my color. I did appreciate how simple and quick it was from opening the box to getting started. There are 3 items plus gloves. Mix 1 into 2 and apply, then condition with 3 after rinsing out product. Maybe I just had higher expectations, but I wasn't so impressed. If you have blonde hair that gets an orange/brassy tone and would rather use a one time and done at home treatment, then I would recommend this product.
