Clairol Natural Instincts Bold Permanent Hair Colour - Copper Sunset

My is dark brown and it just made my hair look darker. I had blond highlights and it still didn’t show up. I waited 2 days after washing my hair to make sure it was clean enough to grab color but, nothing.

I used Copper Sunset C64. I had pretty uniform color dark brown hair orginally, with 3 inches of virgin roots and the rest dyed in a very close match about 6 months ago. This color came out really well on my virgin hair, and also on my ends where the dye had faded a bit. On the midshafts it did show up but it's darker than the rest, HOWEVER this is normal because color does not lift color so that was not a surprise and I did know I would have to even out the color with other products. Ive seen a couple reviews mentioning this and that is user error, if your hair is not dyed it shouldnt be an issue. Also my hair does not feel damaged whatsoever, I did lose a couple strand in the rinse but not much more than what I'd normally lose washing anyways. Hair is still shiny and healthy with no breakage. I will likely use this again to touch up my roots in a few weeks. I have thick wavy hair a couple inches past my collarbone and needed two boxes.

This color is so vibrant! I don't like the other reds that have a magenta tone that is bad with my skin. Finding this intense color made me so happy! Past of my hair was bleached, and the coverage have me different levels of color without sacrificing vibrancy.
