I was very disappointed with this product. I have used Clarins products for many years , including their Hydra Quench Tinted Moisture No 1 and 2. This new product is completely different, and only suitable for someone making up to go on the stage ! Why only one colour ? and what a colour ! There were several to choose from before, depending on your natural skin tone. And they had an SPF15 .factor. No, this new range is vastly inferior to the beautiful range that Clarins had for years. If like me you have been buying Clarins products I suggest that you find another make.I feel that I should have my money back, so that I can find an another tinted moisturiser which has a more natural texture and colour.A complete waste of money, and very disappointing !!

I have been using this foundation for years. It's so versatile as you can build it up and I need coverage for my never skin tone but other well know. products I've tried are too thick and cakey, even with primer they make my skin look dry and settle in my creases and wrinkles. Clarins Everlasting is great to use as you can use light coverage that lasts all day or build it up for evening perfection. It's kind to my skin and doesn't cause spots. It mattifies my combination areas but still leaves a subtle glow to my skin.

But unfortunately this particular product did not meet my expectations. I found it to be rather cakey on my complexion. I chose the same colour, cashew, which have previously used with other foundations. I visited my local Clarins counter for advice regarding this product. I speak to this lady regularly and she advised to maybe try mixing the foundation with a little double serum in order to gain lighter application, I was grateful for this advice, however I regret not having spoke to her initially. I know have a product I probably won’t use.

I've loved this foundation for quite a few years now. I get nervous when Clarins tweak their products but this is, and has always been, a quality product. It stays on all day and gives a great finish on my skin. I never need to touch it up during the day as it just stays where I put it so I can just get on with my day, all day. I've started to add in a drop of Clarins Youth Fluid (also excellent ) in almost the same shade as my skin has become older. I find that helps the Everlasting foundation to smooth over my skin even better and gives a lovely natural finish.

I do not use any setting powder, just moisturizer, sometimes liquid primer ( from Physicians Formula) blusher ( Collistar ) and mascara ( Clarins) that’s all, sometimes I do spray my face with Uriage thermal water.Excellent product, I am very pleased with this foundation.Instantly skin looks younger, it covers all I want to be covered, it doesn’t make my skin look older ( like few other foundation I recently purchased) it smooths complexion and gives satin/ mat finish. It is definitely NOT a typical matifying foundation.
Purchased and was disappointed with how it went on. I tried brush & sponge applications but not really happy with either. I found it did not blend especially around edges of face. I was on point of ordering a different make of fondation when I saw on Clarins website you could mix a drop of face serum to it. Gave it a go and this was a game changer finally pleased with my purchase. It glides on and blends perfectly around face now for me. I use fingers & as it works will stick with this method of application. Just a shame the consultant in store did not pass this tip on as for 6 months I have been unhappy with purchase.

My last foundation blended effortlessly and i loved the fact that i had a natural glow that didn't look like I was wearing foundation coverage. This version makes me look like a teenager who is still learning how to blend and apply their foundation properly. Everlasting it is not. Your new formula should also come up with a new name. Evertlasting no longer describes this product!! So disappointed after years of loving clarins ahead of other brands. You have just lost my custom with this replacement formula. 1 star too many - I wouldn't give any stars to be honest.
I don’t like heavy makeup and for many years didn’t wear any, however now at an age where I feel I need a light base. I considered Clarins as I use their mosturiser and really like it. I went into Boots and the consultant listened to what I was looking for and agreed this was best option. She gave me a couple of samples home to try and make sure I was happy with the shade and coverage before spending money on a full size bottle, which I appreciated.I apply lightly as I don’t want anything too heavy but still great coverage and it’s not greasy to touch.

I decided to give it another try the next day, not to jump to any premature conclusions. Again, the foundation became sticky almosy immediately, pooling in my pores. I washed it off immediately (along with the expensive hydrating serum and day cream that I'd applied underneath it).In my dancing days, we would apply something we called "pancake" (a thick, sticky stage makeup) to our faces, necks and torsos, to get that ethereal, ghost-like ballerina look. If I still danced today, I would swop out the pancake for Clarins' Everlasting Longwearing foundation - it would be superb.Since I live in the very rural Clarens, I also cannot simply go back to my nearest Clarins counter to get a bottle of the Skin Illusion foundation, so I will have to order it online (yay double spend on a very pricey product), then wait a week or more for the delivery.In summary, a great product for ladies who prefer a heavier foundation that covers up their natural skin (and I get that in South Africa, this is kind of the gold standard), but if, like me, you prefer natural-looking skin, give this foundation a skip.
I am 55 & menopausal so tend to sweat quite a lot which is difficult to find make up for. I’ve been using another well known brand for some time which has been ‘ok’ but it tends to not look nice after a hot flush. I googled this one & thought I’d give it a try. I am so happy I did. It’s quite thick so you don’t need to use much. It goes on so easily & only need to apply one layer. It literally lasts all day & despite many hot flushes looks the same at the end of the day as it does at the beginning. I wore it to an all day/all night wedding recently & it was perfect. I will be sticking with it from now on.
